*** Official Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Thread***

Is there an OCUK guild on order side on Karak-Azgal ? Im sure there was one but can't seem to find it. Just started an iron breaker on there almost level 14 as I am giving my magus a bit of a break. If there is one my name is same as forum name ingame send me an invite please ^^.

Just gone over to tier 2 at rank 12 :D

Thought I would absolutely slaughtered in scenarios but I'm not, which is kinda good. Leveling is getting slower and slower for me though :(

Still enjoying this, every few days I come back to play some more. Slowly making my way to level 20. Some screens:

And if you have rolled a core server then why would you really expect mass open pvp. Roll on an open rvr server you wussies :p plenty of action on mine.

It wasn't really my first choice but I wasn't bothered because I have no desire to go around killing much lower level guys or being killed by much higher and If I want a fair fight I know where to go.

I would still expect PvP in PvP zones, PvP is still popular on core servers as the amount of people in scenarios proves, It's just odd that they all seem to stay there.

no travelling involved in scenarios and i imagine most do it for the xp than anything else

Yeah, I understand that but surely that's almost an FPS multiplayer mentality rather than MMORPG, repeating the same maps over and over simply to improve your place on a scoreboard, you'd think that on a core server you would get more people exploring the world. I wasn't just on about limited action in the RvR zones the world in general has no buzz of activity that you get from many other MMOs.

I realise that scenarios are largely to blame I just wish people would explore and see what other things the game has to offer, fortunately our guild plays a bit of everything.

oh i do but well with most pqs deserted and pve quests generally being pretty darn dull, especially solo as a tank as they take forever to do, its hard not to just follow suit

Any word on server mergers?

Capital is empty and hardly ever see anyone about =/ Bored on my own.

Server merges?
I thought servers were packed going on the wait times for login and scenarios.
Is this official or just a request from yourself?

I'd imagine most people (like myself) are trying out multiple classes and levelling them all at the same time, hence I've not seen a city yet as none of my toons are past level 11.

thing is even on the high/capped servers there never appears to be many people about, depending of course on where you are, usually these people are packed into scenarios making the server feel empty, must be dire on the medium popped servers, and as for the failure that was the cloned servers, the less said the better

The ease at which you can enter a scenario initially seemed like a really good idea, I suppose when you can get 13000XP in an 8 min scenario it is a little pointless questing for an hour or so to get 2500XP.

I think what they should have done is allow you to enter scenarios in any area where you had maxed out your influence. This wouldn't make it difficult to enter scenarios, it would merely make people seek out public quests so that they could enter scenarios in convenient zones. Stick a few PQs in RvR zones and you would have action going on everywhere.
