I have noticed that even when my PSP is fully off after a long while it is totally dead. I have also noticed that the charge doesnt last a great deal of time while playing either. Its a Original one (Fat) and i was wondering which is the best replacment to get? Preferably one that has extra long life but doenst stick out.

Thanks

Do you want to take a chance with a 3rd party battery or do you want an original?
I would just look at different batteries and get the one that has the most power.

To turn it off are you...

1) Sliding and holding the power button until the screen blacks out (this powers off completely, any game progress is lost if not already saved but not battery is consumed)

2) Sliding the power button and releasing immediately (this is standby mode, game state is preserved but slowly eats battery)

:)

The first one.. ;)

I bought an official battery cost me £15, get about 5 hours charge out of it.

then i paid £4 for a 3rd party battery, and that one lasts me 9 hours

By the looks of it the 3600MAH are the ones that are longer lasting..

Just bought a pair of them delivered from HK for all of £7.80...
