Fable 2

One online store displays the CE as
and for only £39.99

And it's also missing around 80% of the stuff it was supposed to ship with :p

I think I also read that people don't even get a proper case for it (this is in America so it could be different here)

What McWhertor posted last night as a rumor is definitely not a rumor. I found out last night after getting my Fable II Depressing Limited Edition from GameStop that yes, the card was missing from the game. It was pathetic enough to go from that majestic-looking LE package to a game in a paper sleeve, and now this? Yay. Here's what Microsoft has to say about the issue on Xbox.com.

^^ Same ^^

Switched my pre-order over to the collectors edition, too. The extra content seems cool enough to warrant a little more monies.

Dam didn't realise the collectors came with those dungeons and swords, anyone know if you can buy them separately?

I'm in the same boat with the debt thing, only got the trail but I've been mainly playing the tower game and I swear that its rigged. Any time I get up a reasonable amount I then go and lose it all, usually to be worse off.

I'm really unsure about buying this game. I've read reviews, looked through forums and watched a few videos but I still dont really know what the main point of the game is.

Is there a main plot? With a beginning and end? Or is it just a large world and you just "live" in it and do random things?

Also does the world have a story and history? Like Elder Scrolls has its own mythology with Vampire, Necromancers, Daedra and the Gods etc.

I like RPGs, but I also like RPGs with a plot. Is it worth buying?

Would you want to know what the main plot of the game is? It's like any RPG it has a main plot and lots of side quests for you to do, only you can really decide if it's worth buying if you have seen the reviews and videos and it still doesn't interest you then I'd say no.

peter Molyneux thanks reviewers.

Speaking to CVG, Lionhead boss Peter Molyneux said that the Fable II review scores left him feeling “incredibly emotional” as he read through them, and thanked reviewers for their “patience and belief.”
“I found myself becoming incredibly emotional as I read peoples reviews and saw how differently the reviewers were reacting to Fable 2, “said Molyneux.
“Some reviewers played good, others evil some enjoyed the combat more than the story. Some ended up rich and others poor and it’s the sheer variety in how reviewers have played the game which has struck us most.
“Fable II must have been one of the hardest games to review. The world is so big and the story and gameplay are enormous. How reviewers manage to distil such an experience into a few pages is incredible,” he went on.
“I’d like to say a personal thank you to every reviewer out there for their patience and belief.”
Go Pete.
