I honestly don't know what some of you guys expect from a game, very few live up to hype lets face it crysis wasn't exactly that good of a game in the end.

I have a Razer Diamondback 1600dpi & all other games run sweet including Crysis.
The mouse movement on this game is very jerky, up/down moves like quake1, if looking left/right in a car the mouse view centres to horizontal.
Have to play with sensitivity at 0/minimum, smoothness level makes no difference.
This game just hates the mouse!

Yeah, I'm using a Wolfking Trooper and it suffers the same problem (though I've seen ppl using Logitech mice saying similar on other forums)......not really sure why though? It just doesn't feel right to me, and it may be that's what's causing my motion sickness with the game.

Because the game constantly streams the textures ( & hence no loading screen pauses) it moves a lot of the the stuff onto the hardrive & loads ongoing textures from there instead of into memory, this is why 2gig of memory is enough apparently

This game runs like a dream. I have everything maxed out except shadows on low. Playing at 1280 x 1024 im averaging 40-90 fps , mainly in the 60's.

My rig is quad core e6600 (overclocked to 3ghz) , 4 gig of ram , 8800gt and windows xp.

Bit of an anticlimax tbh - i prefered crysis gfx and story line. It does however run very smoothly compared to crysis.

I think Crysis defiantly looks better, but farcry is so much more better just because its playable XD

Well I'm on a 3870 so fairly old card and compared to Crysis it runs really well and looks fantastic. I prefer the shadows and lighting in farcry but the detail and overall wow factor Cyrsis wins

Just ran the benchmark dx10 1360x768 u-high, no aa
min51 av61fps max84

So the fps are ok but the movement is very choppy.
Even with a 360 joypad the analouge moves the view slowly if pushed a little but then suddenly moves full speed if pushed a little further, like some funky acceleration which makes it unplayable.
Do xbox owners have this same joypad accelation problem?

It runs o.k with your 9800GX2 ? forums suggest the latest driver cripples the GX2 & earlier drivers are fine

Ive tried altering the mouse sensitivity in the gamerprofile.xml but there doesnt seem to be anyway to control acceleration.. ah well back in the box until its patched...
