I'm hoping three points for us. Though a London derby can sometimes be a bit iffy...

As I said last week, it's kind of ..weird..that there is only ONE match kicking off Saturday at 15:00. :/

Personally can see us struggling again to get anything from a home game against Bolton.

Ramos appears to have lost the plot and am expecting him to go with the ever reliable 4-5-1 formation that has worked so well for us so far this season

I am assuming that because he played King on Thursday night that Corluka is likely to be fit to stand in the centre back role in front of Gomes again. With Bale suspended he will be replaced by Assou-Ekotto which isnt too bad considering the way Bale has been playing recently.

Modric needs to start as he was one of the only positives to come out of the Udinese game, and Campbell to partner Bent and not that useless Russian.

Rafa's confirmed that both Gerrard and Alonso are fit for Sunday but Torres is definantly out and that Keane is still a doubt.

If Keane doesn't make it then i wouldn't mind Babel playing upfront with Gerrard just off him; his pace will come in handy up against Terry and Kuyt could be crucial in stopping Cole attacking down our right. With everybody expecting a Chelsea win, we've not really got much to lose but im confident we'll get some sort of result.

Possible 11:
-----------Reina
Arbeloa-Carra-Agger-Aurelio
-------Alonso-Masch
Kuyt------Gerrard-----Riera
--------Keane/Babel

Everton vs Man Utd at noon and Sky are showing Roy Keane's decidedly average team against a load of "can't win, won't win" Geordies?

Nice to know my £60/month is being well spent.

Well done Sky, you idiots.

To be fair Everton have been very very poor of late and theres nothing to really suggest that it will be a mightly exciting game, where as one of the bigger derbys with a lot of passion and more likely, violence, red cards and fights..... meh, they probably got it spot on which would be most interesting to watch.

At the end of the day to spread the money equally they are supposed to show equal amount of league games per team, or roughly. So you can watch Man U vs Chelsea and Newcastle vs sunderland, or go for the Man U vs Everton and Newcastle vs stoke game, overall the first pair of games offers FAR more entertainment in general.

I don't understand why Sky don't use the interactive service for Premiership games yet either - like they do with the Champions League where you pick the game you want to watch.

Or maybe they can only show so many games per season?

Either way, I think Rotty summed it up perfectly in his other thread. Also, I can just about guarantee you that Everton will turn it on tomorrow and give a good performance. And in all fairness to Everton, when they do play well they're actually quite a good team.

Well that is because they do not have the rights to show interactive Premiership games you got the buy the rights for that.

I am very surprised to see only one 3pm game on a Saturday and to see so many more games on the Sunday. I hate this and hope it doesn't happen too often.

The teams playing on Sunday are worse off because the following Wednesday there is a all teams except two will be playing with 8pm kick offs. Including the North London derby.

To be honest, Everton were a good team last year, a very good team, and the year before. This year, meh, while Graveson(a while ago) and Carsley I don't rate at all, they do need that mould of player, as in someone defensive and semi decent in the team, the defence has completely and utterly gone to pieces, which is why even if they get some goals frankly they might get trounced tomorrow due to conceding. Yakubu, just like, a Crouch, Elano maybe and that type of player seem to come into a new club, do well for 1/4-1/2 a season and then go to complete crap. Yakubu went to Everton got a bagload of goals to start with and nothing since. Lazyness, boredom, who knows, but he's not a good striker. Johnson worked his socks off for the team and is a huge loss, not a clue why they'd get rid of him. They aren't clicking upfront at the moment and defensively I can't even imagine why they are soo soo bad this year after being very solid last year.

Anyone can perform well against anyone in any game, thats life, but most likely it will be a dull afair with Man U running rings around Everton's defence.

Not sure why you can't pick and choose your games at the moment, I think they are still floating this ridiculousness that is if they put all the games on live no one will go anymore. Even though other sports worldwide who play just as much prove thats incorrect. I find it embarassing and pathetic that I could go and live in Asia and see every last Arsenal game live in full quality while being a Gooner living in london I can't see more than what 1/10th of their games lives(officially) and not in good quality cept the few on sky. I swear we are one of the only nations and only sports worldwide where you can't at the very least see your team live on tv.

At the end of the day, Arsenal 60k seats every other game, or charge us £150 a year for a channel that provides all the games live, except 10 million people would pay that amount to see all the prem games, even if turnout reduced slightly it would be more than compensated for. Yet all the games that are on live, cup, CL, the all sell out anyway.

Frankly providing more coverage and coverage for every match and an option to pay for the tv channel to see them, wouldn't it provide far more money to the lower clubs per year and enable them to compete slightly better with the bigger clubs?

IINM that's it. The top 4 do get shown considerably more than the rest of the league so it's hard to moan too much when they're not on.

The top 4 don't get that many more games all told than the others when it comes to the premier league, its mostly hard to see that though when the top 4 are frequently further in both cups than other teams, and also on in the champions league very frequently.

Its still just ludicrous that they don't put them all on tv. I mean we all know without fail that all the champs league matches will be on tv, and other than Chelski pretty much every game sells out anyway, but the attendance simply doesn't change due to viewing figures. Theres nothing like being at a live game, no one will stop going because they are on tv, so why screw everyone who can't afford a ticket for every live game or people who simply can't get there.

Hold on are you saying that Arsenal TV show all Arsenal games live?

The best place to watch them on is sopcast and the footy doctor. If you really want to go spend out you'll need to get a channel called Canal + or Sky Italia. They will show you all the 3pm games live except it will cost a bit of money to get these setup.

Seems strange that there are plenty of untelevised games on Sunday. What was the point in moving them then?

West Ham could be tricky. With a bit of luck, they'd have beaten Hull. Hopefully we'll keep our **** together from now on, but this is where the test lies.

Four of the sunday games involve teams that play in the UEFA Cup (Man City had their off week last night, but the weekend fixtures were done before the UEFA schedule was finalised).

Yes, I know thats the best place(well its not anymore, 800kbps embedded media player streams seem the best these days) but the point is they are incredibly, and I mean completely unreliable. Theres no money being exchanged, I appreciate the guys that stream it but they don't have to they don't work hard to fix problems, its a favour. Its not like paying Sky for a service they will employ people and fix problems to get you the picture. But they are still crap quality, and the frustrating thing is the guy streaming it is watching it, in Japan maybe in full quality paying next to nothing to see them, while we, the fans from the country that pays the teams to play can't do the same.

But yes, all the extra Sunday games are involving teams that played in the Uefa cup(or as said City who were expected to have played).

Some games are moved aswell to a different day(none this weekend by the looks of it) purely down to location. If you had Man U vs ARsenal, and Liverpool, or Newcastle or something all playing in London to you're adding a huge amount of extra people to motorways, trains and so on, on a weekend where that happens they'll split the games up over sat/sunday to make it easier aswell.

Ahh. Fair 'nuff then really. Sunday still sucks for footy though.

I'm annoyed as well, why can't Man U be shown live every week? They have fans in every city and every country, the viewing figures would be huge.
