Ruth sang her heart out... there shouldn't be any doubt with those 2 songs and those 2 performances.

everyime louis opens his mouth he has to try and insult simon, just gets irritating. Surprised simon didnt go for booting off girlband though, odd.

I honestly didn't think that Girl Band were the worst performance of the evening - I would hand that to Girls Aloud 
At first I couldn't decide whether they were miming or not, then actually wished they were for their sakes :/ but then I guess the tv was just out of sync but they were bad.
I guess Ruth will be back to singing in Spanish next week then

I thought Ruths performance of Purple Rain was amazing. The reason Simon didnt choose her to stay was because he hoped the public would boot her out because he knows she's competition for his guys - it was his way of copping out.

Forget the X Factor contestants. The panel really should have honestly judged Girls Aloud, they were close to being the worst that appeared on the stage all night. Sing good live? Thats a negative!

Nice use of emotional blackmail Daniel, been doing it right from the start of this show. Fair do's his wife has died and I feel for him but this is a singing contest stop with playing on the emotional heart strings please!
He did not deserve to win that over Scott tonight, I didn't like Scott that much but I think Scott has a far better voice. How Daniel manipulated the judges tonight he should be ashamed of himself.
