Dead Space - Survival Horror is Back

I'm missing an audio log on chapter 3, it just isn't where it's supposed to be, even watched a video on youtube and it isn't in the room it's supposed to be in.
 
loving this game so far on chapter 4 at the moment and fifth set of underwear lol getting short on ammo and having to do close combat ie die a lot :p

I went for PC, running on my hdtv with my 360 control, silence and full 1080p, has to be said it looks absolutely breathtaking.

Might try and grab some shots later.

minor fault with game = i accidentally press square when i meant to do L1 and sqaure or triangle for inv and it uses one of my medi paks bah

but anyway good job i had **** loads of ammo on this chapter lol
 
Is there a button shortcut to use an air canister without having to go into the inventory?

Also, i assume if you d/l the suits after you start playing, it wont let u use them?
 
no it should let you - just go to the next store and it should be there?

dont think theres a shortcut for air canisters but when you hear Isaac struggling to breathe thats a good sign that hes running outta air.

Can't wait to get this, but I don't think I'll stick with it as I'm a huge wuss with survival horrors.

I played FEAR with the sound off and still cringed round corners.
 
came across my first annoying/frustrating bit in the game end ch4

ffs im running across the outside of the ship to get to the cannons? a mini obstacle course and no matter if im behind a barrer or not i get cut to pieces by explosions at my feet???? I thought it was asteroids that were gonna hit not tiny explosions from the floor??? seems random where it hits...

ALSO they are very frugal with giving out power nodes. At most im getting 2 per chapter (maybe 3) but they way you upgrade stuff you need 2 nodes to actually upgrade something (after the start). And theres like 6 or 7 things you can upgrade. Basically all this means that you can barely max out 1 of these things (e.g. plasma cutter) by the end of the game....

as for the question, yeah im only on Chapter 2 (just returning to the bit where you need to put the bits... to try and not spoil it) - but i have that gun the rifle and a flamethrower.

not sure where to aim with the latter though, as i just set them alight and they still come at me

Hide behind the barriers, works fine.

Just starting chapter 10 and I have an almost fully upgraded plasma cutter and rig and I've used a couple of nodes on my line gun too.
 
i think im ready to kick some butt, i got over 1000 bullets for my rifle and 61,000 credits and im only on chapter 6

Just got into Chapter 2 and taking a break.
So far the scares are pretty predictable but I still jump regardless.
Im a complete pussy when it comes to scary games.

Got the Elite suit tho, pretty cool.
