Fable 2

Still loving this game, although I get the feeling the main storyline is not too long. I already done 2 of the Hero tasks and now I am asked to set sail somewhere and it is implied I won't be able to come back to these areas so I am just messing around in towns whilst my companian is waiting at the docks.

Engaged to about 5 women, not sure if I want to marry now or not. Bought 1 pub yesterday (oakfield) and own about 10 properties so am expecting loads of money when I logon.

Also, I have a couple of jobs appear on my list but I think they are "evil" jobs. It is called civil displacement. I am trying to be good this play though so not sure if I should do this task. Apart from that all there is is woodcutter (1 level from end but a drain to do), Blacksmith (1 level from end and drain to do), Bartender (maxed out). I get the odd slave and bounty hunter mission, but that's about it.

Is there any other ways to make more money, or jobs I have missed?

It appears on Jobs (Every now and then your Dpad has an exclamation mark which indicates new jobs and/or quests. Of the jobs I have sen that are "press A" mini games, it is by far the easiest to level up on. I think if you don't have the job then goto sleep for 7 days and some old jobs will disappear and new jobs appear.

I also havent received any money over night, logged on this morning and only have 1k extra, when im logged in im getting 700+ every 5minutes. Doesn't add up?

Also, i cant find this damn book shop in bowerstone :confused:

I found one in Bowerstone, near town square. I am certain it is Bowerstone as I only been to one bookshop and it had loads of books for my pet dog.

Edit: Just logging in to see if I made any "offline" monies.
Edit 2: Just spawned at Market and say a "13140" gold icon float above me. So I have 15776 gold as of 1pm. Gonna turn off and see what it is when I get home tonight to try and nail how it works.
Edit 3: It is night time now in my world, but if you face the pub in Bowerstone (from behind the town sqaure) The shop on *** corner going down the left hand road is called "Fiction Burns" I am sure this is where I bough the books.

Just find 2 or more ho's that are "up for it" and lead them to a bed (preferably not the bed in your family home).

I found 2 ladies but didn't want to use my own bed so i smashed somebodies door down and used their bed. :D

I found the bookshop, bought every book :p I bought a business book which may be how you gain offline profit? I cant go to sleep at all now, every bed i go to says "you cant sleep now" :mad:

I'm probably doing something really stupid here, but How do you sleep in an Inn?

Is the Inn the same as the Tavern? Or are the sleeping quarters separate? I've not slept since i started the game lol, apart from in the beds available at the Temple of Shadow.

I'm probably being really dim


hmmm, Turns out there may just not be any beds in the Oakvale tavern.

Theres at least 1 women in bowerstone, 1 at the gypsy camp and one at oakvale that when you press y will describe them as "flirty, raunchy" and I bedded all 3 :P. Funny thing is I got good will points for it because I had protected sex, I suppose cheating on my wives is fine as long as they dont find out ;)
 
Is there any way to get my man back into shape a bit more? After eating a few too many pies he's looking a bit on the fat side.

Onto my second wife now as my first one somehow died, then they took away my son and put him into care!

Getting a bit of money in now, I own most of the small stalls and several houses in Bowerstone now, going to move on to some of the proper shops when I get a bit more money.

Overall loving the game, but feels like its going to be a bit short. Still, only time will tell!
 
Still having trouble making money.
The bartending job is quite easy but soooooooo boring.

Bought several stalls and recently the book shop.
Getting around 230 every now & then.
Not too bad but a loooooong way off buying a pub.
 
Good tip is to go back to the starting area with the caravans and buy all of them, most of them cost around 1000g with 1 or 2 being around 3500g, I also put my own house there up for rent.
