Zeitgeist: Addendum VERY Cool Movie!!

Stop trying to be that one person who thinks they know it all, its not as deep into conspiracy as you might think, there is no reason to counter argue the points arisen, as the proof is there in our society. Its not as far fetched as to start bringing in Illuminati, masonry, skull and bones society and all that irrelevant nonsense that the majority don't care about, it merely reminds us of how brainwashed we all into accepting the pillars that support our current civilization. When Elitism shall be eradicated from the face of the Earth, this will be the pinnacle of civilization and the self sustaining world..

...then stop trying to be the one person who knows "the truth".

Could the people caling this as BS please watch the whole movie and then list your arguments. Don't simply quote "debunking" websites, which themselves could just as easily be labelled as BS.

For every conspiracy video posted, there'll be a de-bunker, then a de-bunker to the de-bunker. The use of sensationalist language and the lack of cross-referenced references tells me all I need to know.

Essentially, if this sort of **** IS going on, posting a video to youtube isn't going to change anything, and a bunch of keyboard warriors aren't going to change anything, so why bother about it? Some conspiracies are going to be just too big to deal with, so why even bother about it.

As an intellectual exercise it would have been interesting if it held up under scrutiny, which the previous one didn't and this one probably won't as well, if I was sad enough I'd do it myself, but there are sadder people out there so I'll wait for one of them to do it.

:)

I'm not sure if cool is the word but it was interesting at least, well the first few parts concerning the monetary system were anyway. Sadly the extended Venus Project advertisement and the laughably poor list of actions for social transformation drag the film down pretty badly (Change your money from one bank...to another! That'll show 'em!).

Well I watched it, very interesting, sums up and in more detail many of the problems i felt the system had, i think deep down most people feel the system is wrong and know things could be much better if things changed, it wouldn't even take much more work or cost more than is being wasted on wars etc, the right resources towards the right goals would bring us towards a proper civilisation, we've hardly even achieved the first letter of the world 'civilisation'!

Did anyone really see this as conspiracy theory?

Seems more reasonable to me than most videos of a similar fringe nature, perhaps you don't agree with all the points made but it seems to be whats happening regardless, the current state of the economy and world is very telling.

The first Zeitgeist is famous for it's most excruciating first 15 minutes in the history of film documentary. It's so bad and so painful to watch it's actually shown to students as example of how NOT TO to do editing of movies.

I enjoyed the intro^^.
Addendum is very interesting.
Of course we shouldn't be "sheep" and accept it without question. It is frustrating because a lot of what is talked about, I have little knowledge of and so am unable to make my own opinion of.
The opinions of the film maker are very compelling but then I'm sure I would (and have) think/though the same about those from people who offer rebuttals.
Still, this 2nd movie certainly touches upon some ideas worth consideration if nothing else.
Those who simply group all "conspiracy" films together as "nonsense" are as bad as those who accept them without question.

Downloaded this last night and watched it. Best documentary I've seen in years. Much better than the first one as well. It's strange how every night on the news for the past twon months we have all these 'experts' telling us how to tackle the economic downturn yet none of them can provide a better explanation of why we are where we are than they do in the zeitgeist.

Also nice to see he included clips of Krishnamurti in as well.

Hey magick as you're quite into fringe stuff, know any good long videos to watch for those of us who find this sort of stuff interesting regardless of what most would think?

I might not take a lot of it seriously but i do find most of this sort of stuff interesting anyway as it can make you think and perhaps give you a different view of the world, i know a load, perhaps it would be good to make an alternate video thread?

I decided to watch this with an open mind, but found it to be retarded and misguided from the beginning, and turned it off shortly after starting. Mostly because what i saw in the first 10minutes made me feel the rest would be similar.

First it tries to soften my brain with random, unassociated small clips of famous people talking about he world.
It then followed by telling me that the US banks just ask the federal reserve for money, and thats it, more money. Not a good start, inact such a bad start, and so inaccurate that you would litterally have had to have guessed thats how it works.

Here's one more, a very good documentary about the hisotry of the banking system. It goes much more in depth about the financial/banking system than Zeitgiest. Also very prophetic as this video was made quite a while ago warning about what's happening right now :-

The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America

The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..." THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers.

You see though, I'm not a qualified economist, so I wouldn't make m yown arguments agaisnt or for it's economical sugestion/arguments as I'm unqualified and underinformed to do that. The debunking sites usually found qualified people and asked them.

I mean you wouldn't expect a person to give thier for and agaisnt arguments on 2 reactor designs would you? (and thats much simplier than economics tbh)
lol expert economists or qualified what a joke, havent you noticed they always get things wrong.

Anyway the videos may or may not have an eliment of truth, but what it does is opens your eyes about certain things, making you question why when how, specially with the types of governments we have now.

These videos all have one thing in common and all are 100% right governments arent here to help you, they just give the illusion they do, Governments are run by large companies or wealthy individuals, but when mistakes are made then average joe pays the price. just open yoru eyes and question why did the givernment pass this act and why wasnt it reported in the news, ( btw BBC most bias news group).
