Got one of these coming my way for review and my test rig. :cool:

Any plans to get the smaller one in?

How is it going to offer better cooling than most current solutions? You do know that ventilation isn't the same as air flow? I'd put money on the Antec 900 being far better than this at cooling.
 
Looks really crappy and cheap, I thought it might be alright but its really not, must be a nightmare for dust and noise too not to mention all the other hazards, good job trying to sell it though Yewen but it's well ovepriced I probably would buy it for £50 for the crack lol.
 
Looks like there is very limited space for fitting rads within the footprint of the case, especially if you want push-pull fans. Show me one with psu, hard discs and dvd drive installed to give an idea of the space you would have to work with. With a case like this mounting rads externally defeats the object of the case is it will drastically change its look, something you can get away with on a basically oblong box of a case. Also I'm always suspicious of cases with proprietry fans as they are invariably a nightmare to replace if the bearings go.
 
i dont get it would it not be dangerous that it is not enclosed like someone could stick a finger when it is on and get electrocuted ?

Well, I reckon it'd be pretty hard to spill something on that Antec.

I mean, how?

You'd never put drinks near it. Plus, its like anything, you accept the risk when you buy it.

If you don't own it, then theres no point in worrying about its negative implications.

What a silly thing to say! How does anyone spill a drink. By accident usually!

I'm sure no one will ever have a drink near it!

So I'm not allowed to comment on something I don't own! This forum would soon 'fail' if everyone listened to your suggestion lol.

1) If you spill a drink on a computer, then you're an idiot. Yes, it is an accident. But having an open case Doesn't mean that your case is any less waterproof then a normal metal box with grooves and holes all over the place. If I spilt a drink on my PC, I would hardly be sitting there going "NOES, WHYS IZ *** CASE NOTS WATERPROOF".

I would have failed at life and that's that.

2) No-one cares.

Who's being defensive. I'm just making a comment just like you did :)

So, anyone who has spilt a drink over a computer is an idiot. Great you've just insulted a large number of computer users. The Antec is open all the time where as a normal case isnt. If you spill a drink over a normal case you're pretty much OK however if you spill it over the Antec you're pretty much screwed.

I'm sure you would just sit there 'text speaking to yourself' if you spilt a drink, even more so if you had the Antec. More likely you'd be counting the cost of all you're damaged components rather then calmly getting a cloth to wipe any standard case.

I have a valid argument. If you have a valid response please continue to respond.
 
Only problem with that argument is that when i spilt a drink on a antec 1200 couldnt wipe it off as all poured inside through the top fan....whoops:eek:
 
i knew when i first saw this case it would split opinions
i knew it would cause arguments too!

antec have anounced that the skeleton case includes a spill proof plastic beaker for the clumsy folk to put their drinks in
as well as a cup holder for the side of the case [so the fan can keep your drink cool]
