Backing up contacts and apointments on the Aspire one?

I have been using the calender and contacts that comes with the Aspire one which works really well but I cant seen to find how to back up the appointments and contacts ? is this possible as I want to format but don't want to lose all the info on these.

would be great if I could just save them to removable media and then once formatted just put them back?

I'd hope this is possible, as it's not an unreasonable thing to want to do. What application are you using?

I hope it is....I am using the Aspire One Mail, the contacts and calender are part of that program I think ? They are under "Work" on the Desktop. Calender is version 1.02.3003
and contacts is the same??

I noticed a thread on using FWBackups on the first page of their "How to Guides" forum. It can do full backups and restores.
