What have they used to do that? Acid or some sort of paint stripper?

I thought brand new-ish vehicles that are badly damaged just get a brand new replacement by the insurance company. Or is that just some myth?
I bought a bike that was stolen recovered with 1k miles on it and it was about 6 months old. Had been dropped on one side with a couple of marks on it and needed new ignition and lock set. I would have though that would have been repaired seeing as it cost me £50 to put it as new.
Will it ever be the same again? :/ Nothing quite beats a factory paint job. They put them in ovens to harden the clear coat don't they. Bet even a "professional" respray wouldn't do that...
Im pretty sure they would, there are a few respray places here and they do that.
While the car is getting a respray i would build a garage to put it in lol
If i had a car like that, I'd have a garage to store it in.
feel sorry for the car though!
Ahh didn't know that. So will they take all the panels off the car then? Major major job I would have thought![]()
