There are more important things in this world than a comedian ringing up some old guy and a movie critique saying he ****** his granddaughter. Well thats how i feel but maybe for you people who are all for getting them sacked this is an important issue really look around you there are far worse things happening.

I think it is the medias fault. If they wanted to they could take a segment from Brands show every week and offend thousands. Some people are easily offended.

The media are causing all the embarassment for Andrew Sachs.

Time to close the thread, the Brand/Ross sympathizers only see this simplistically as a humor/dont be offended/its not the worse thing in the world point of view, which is parallel to the real issue of lewd misuse of the phone from a place of work that would have anyone else sacked without question perspective, threads going nowhere now

Why close it? It's an ongoing story, they have just been suspended. If you don't like the thread then just don't bother clicking on it surely.

I wasn't saying that Ross wasn't in the wrong as well and I do think that some form of disciplinary action should be taken against them both. But I've seen quite a few of Ross's programs in the past which I have mostly enjoyed whilst I don't find Brand remotely funny.

I think the suspention was a token gesture by the BBC, nothing will come of it except they come back to work on Monday morning after having a few days off.
