Awesome. :)

Thanks for that :D

This has grown on me, and quite looking forward to it.
Although, the feature I most want hasn't been mentioned for ages; deleting 0 point games from you achievment list :(

It has been mentioned in a lot of the videos and previews I have seen/read in the last few days. Definitely in there.

Schweet, thanks for that (I have only watched the one above :o), I'm more than happy to install this on the 19th (didn't see the Beta sign-up til after it closed )

Weird that some of you say the current dash is slow. I've never had anything but instant selection as I slide through panels and options. My dash on every 360 i've had has been instant.

Now i'm going to be stuck with a format that makes it look like a 12 year old computer.

The options and blades are quick, but the online stuff takes an age to load sometimes for me. The NXE looks a lot quicker at downloading the images and stuff for games.

I'm not sure what to make of all this server-side stuff. What will it look like in offline mode? Will anything even show up? LOL.

Hopefully it will cache it, but then that would take up a lot of HDD space if you look at every single item on the Marketplace lol.

I guess they are under the assumption:

If you downloaded the NXE, your online so you have no excuse to be offline! :p

trying to open the guide button mid game, go to friends list, select a friend, invite to chat then quit out of the guide to the game takes an absolute age! as does reading a message and quitting back to the game. basically anythin to do with the guide is slow at the moment, the blades them selves on the dashboard aint too bad

As I said I have none of those issue, even online and gaming my menu's are fast. Just watching that video and seeing him cycle through the friends list was slow and painfull.

Too much graphics and cluttered looking for me. It doesn't look natural to navigate either.

I don't mind the progress at all but why not let me keep my current layout with the party invite. Thats all I wanted, none of the other rubbish will get used anyway. I don't care about looking at box art for XBLA games.

The only other feature that I will use is the deletion from your achievements of games that you didn't score any points on.

lol you must have special 360's then if your menu's are fast, I can't stand usin the guide on mine just cos its so slow to open it and quit out of it, i try not to use it as much as possible. i agree with you though, the friends list looks almost painful to navigate on NXE, especially if you have a lot of friends online, far too much stuff goin on etc.

guides fine on mine also?, still not liking the kiddie looking NXE, but in end will probably get used to it. Sorta takes the gamers choice of console down a peg or two in coolness though now, lol.

If you add all my repairs I've had 9 xbox 360's and not one of them has been slow when playing online then going to my friends list to invite people or use message or any other dash feature.

None of my mates have ever complained about that being slow either.

You must just have a rubbish one :p
