The Office US or UK?

my only quibble with the us office was their decision to make it 20 minutes instead of 40 for the newer episodes :(
 
My favourite Office US episode that i've seen so far is the one where they play basketball with the warehouse staff. :cool:
 
I hate the US version, it feels like comedy for simpletons. Just don't like it at all. Seen about 5 different episodes and they are all awful. Perhaps it improved after season 1 though.
 
Season 1 was terrible, it was just a rewrite of the british one.

From season 2 onwards its been terrific, my favorite US comedy, absolutely hilarious, and it just gets better and better each year.
 
Last night I watched series 4 episodes 7 to 14 and it had me in tears.
To be honest (those who gave it 10 minutes of their time) after the first series it actually became its own series with virtually no cap tipping to the UK version.
 
one of my favourite moments is when michael introduces pam as the 'office ****' (along those lines), then when she walks away he says "actually, pam is a really wonderful person, but i'd never say that to her face"

Spot on! If I want to get someone into the series i lend them the season 2 dvd and tell them not to worry about season 1 till later.
