Quantum Of Solace Trailer

The teaser trailer was very good but this new trailer is even better, 1st night showing for me nailed on 100% most def, looks awesome :D

Damn that looked good! I absolutely adored Casino Royale, and still do. This looks to be much of the same, but better.. I cannot wait.

Daniel Craig just looks so damn bad ass in this, I can't wait to see how he pulls off being an even rougher Bond. :D

It's a continuation of Casino Royale.

Watched this trailer on TV the other night ,was some movie award program on and it it premiered. Looks good but not sure if i'll go the pictures to watch it.

Looks ok, average like someone said. Hopefully subsequent trailers will do more to boost the enthusiasm. Will definitely be going to the cinema to watch, unless it gets really rubbish reviews, which is doubtful. Will be interesting to see if it lives up to the expectations that CR has set.

Doubt there will be a 3rd trailer now, too close to release and dont want overkill or to give too much away, as much as I like the 2nd trailer I think it shows enough if not a tad too much of the different action sets away already

I'll be watching this. I'm a big fan of Daniel Craig as Bond. Loved him in Casino Royale and I thought the trailer was good.

Looks pap. Will there be even more blatant rip offs of trendy films and product placement in this one?

"Rolex?"
"Omega."
*sexual groan*.

-.-

Seen it. Wasnt too impressed, its as if they have tried to make up for the lack of action in Casino Royale in this one, and it actually slows down towards the end and starts to get a bit dragged out really.

Reminded me quite a bit of watching the likes of the Die Hard series, Daniel Craig is not in the slightest swarve in it, and theres very few of the Bond querky one lines and things like that, and no gadggets, but thats to be expected really.

Also, if your expecting to stare the film out at an Aston DBS, you will be disappointed, its only in the first 5 minutes then its gone, as per the last film.

Also, the company plugs are getting stupid, every time he stops a car you get a front or rear shot, with nothing big a big FORD badge being pronouced at the viewers, and when hes opening doors it zooms into his hand to show off an Omega Seamaster, and the phone has Sony Erricsson stamped all over it, and you get a lot of shots of that too.

Overall, it should be laballed Die Hard 5 in my opinion. Its worth a watch as it explains the story behind the end of Casino Royale, but otherwise its not as good as I expected.

Only bad thing about CR was the product placement. I wish I was going to see this tonight but im being dragged kicking and screaming to see SAW V.

I'll try and go see it next week.

Good start, got a bit bored towards the end. Best scenes seem to revolve around Daniel and Judy Dench. Seemed to try and evoke a lot of classic bond moments - the girl on the bed with oil, (Gold Finger), the scene at the musicial with the giant eye (Diamonds are Forever, Spy Who Loved Me), a few other bits as well, but can't remember them. A bit boring really. It needs to start to lighten up just ever so slightly otherwise it's going to make for a really dull run of films imo. Also, I wish it had more of an identity as a stand alone film rather than a straight continuation of Casino Royale, it really seemed to lack it, despite the efforts with the sub-plot that kept in parallel and reflected Bonds own 'loss' (yawn) of the new Bond girl. Interesting revelation about Vespers former partner as well. Hurry up wit the third before I loose the will to live, and stop shaking the camera about so much in chases, I want to see what goes on. I wanna see more Felix as well, the guy is brilliantly cast.

I thought it was freakin' sweet. :D

As Robosapien said the pace does seem to drop towards the end and it just try to invoke a lot of fond Bond memories but I personally enjoyed the ties to Casino Royale and found the darker side of it all came off well.

Will add more later as am a bit tired at the minute :)
