So are you saying a Clio is on par with an Integra? Please explain.

Word of warning, the RX8, if you go down that road is an excellent car and gives the same smiles when the car beeps at you at 9000rpm telling you to change up, but the fuel economy is a really bad joke.

Wow, straight line speed means everything, notice the part where I mentioned drivers car.
Also your video proves nothing, thats entirely down to the drivers and that track looked rubbish.

theres a white DC5 Type R in our works car park, also with some Civic Type R' and Focus ST (its the IT crews set of cars and they always park them together). i always walk past and stare into the DC5 and wish i could own one!
if your not bothered about a bit of rattle and maybe the odd bit of trim i would gte get the DC5. Fun>Rattles

Both are very good fwd cars, real world theres not a lot in it, and on track it depends on the track. An old top gear mag article pitted the 172, Integra (DC2) and Ford Racing Puma against each other, the Puma got the fastest track time by a mile and the Integra was last. But no idea of the track used.
The integras are good, but the amount of hype that goes with them is unbelievable.
I just mention straight line speed?

Are they worlds apart in terms of handling, I know the Clio is supposed to be very good, but is the Teg on another level?

the clio is a very good base car thats why they do so many renault clio race cars and series?
well obviously they sponsor and throw money at it too, but you never see classes (clio cup) made from terrible base cars.

The DC5 is a great car, the DC2 is the better car .... Simple as that
The clio Trophy is no slower than a DC5. My Trophy with full miltek system was as quick as my mates DC2 with spoon system. My mate is a good driver and he could not shake the trophy round the ring.

lets make a few points:
- The video is comparing a DC2 and a 182... not a DC5.
- The 182 Is clearly modified listening to the sound of the exhaust?
- The 182 gets in front of the DC2 by cutting a corner?!
- The 182 is overtaken by the DC2 on a straight.
- It's very likely both drivers have different driving abilities.
- Your video goes against you're argument as it shows the DC2 is in fact better.

Why not take other peoples comments into perspective aswell, such as Sam's and Ev0's etc.
Honestly, im not saying the Teg is a bad car, just pointing out you can have a car which handles and performs the same for a lot less money.

- I thought the DC2 is meant to be overall better than the DC5
- Maybe the DC2 is modified?
- Haven't watched it all the way through
- Who knows. Certainly not any of us. Maybe the DC2 guy was awesome at driving and the guy in the clio was rubbish? If they were match the clio would have been loads faster?
The DC2 is better than the DC5. Problem is the DC2 is dog ugly .....

Unfortunately it seems to me that most proper " Honda " Boys seem to think that Honda's are the best car money can buy and that nothing else comes close. Honda make fantastic cars just perhaps not as good as some people like to make out. I have a few friends with civis and tegs and the way they go on about them , anyone would think there were driving around in lambos
