Obama. I think this election really shows how unlike America most of Western Europe is, a McCain/Palin ticket would get no where near winning an election in the UK....damn I'd rather have 100 years of Cameron...and thats saying something.

You felt perfectly confident boasting about it in motors, so why can't I bring it up now?

Since.. when? When did you start funding yourself? How are you as a full time student studying to be a Pharmacist able to rent a $800,000 house with 3 other people and run a 328i with a student job?

Oh great, a complete ridiculous unworkable tax system which could only be concived by a person who has no grasp of how it all works, no wonder your voting McCain.
Gonna get expensive when McCain has to increase the defense budget, but all those people unemployed, can't tax them. Can't let them starve either...humm I wonder whole else he could tax, oh yeah the working ones. Or you could have Obama, who, doesn't want to do that 'war' thing.

I agree with that, Killa Ken is not living in the real world. he claims he has seen "money being giving to families with 12 children that don't want to work" with his own eyes. Typical snob.

Interestingly the USA spends the same as the largest European countries per person (through its tax breaks etc) without managing to provide universal health care (see http://www.economist.com/world/unitedstates/displaystory.cfm?story_id=12432416).

It will be interesting to see what the next president does, especially since big business is now starting to lobby for a more universal system (they're spending huge amounts on private health care provision).

+1 for obama, dont think the world needs another four years of the redneck, warmongering, bible bashing nut jobs that the republican party are.:D

Not enough Americans see this (blatantly obvious Killa_Ken hasn't). What a pity, but never mind, Obama will win anyway, at long last restoring pride, dignity and respect to the United States of America. Long overdue.

At last! You've got it!
Sorry, but looney tunes. That's the sort of attitude that's put us in this recession in the first place. It's also why the US has a $10 trillion national debt, with, as things stand, no hope of ever paying it off. If the US Government was a business, it would have long since filed for Chapter 11.

I agree with you that the lazy ****ers that sit on their backsides all day and live off the state (or steal what they can't afford) should be given an indefinite stay ticket to boot camp (one part of the US justice system I happen to agree with), but like it or not though they're a tiny minority.

Yes, hard work should be rewarded, I certainly do my share there, and I get paid accordingly. Of course, I'd much rather have US tax rates than UK - they'd do wonders for my take home, but at the same time I'm very grateful for Government help. I'm disabled, so knowing the safety net is there should I need it is a good thing.

'Free Healthcare' (at the point of use, to avoid any flames) in the US is a misnomer. You only get it if you qualify (frail and/or severely disabled), and even then you only get limited coverage.

PS - your idea of 'not getting any help from parents' is rather blinkered. They paid taxes, didn't they?

Killa Ken still has not answer my question !

He is to busy flying in his learjet, grumbling about how max tax he has to pay.

:p

So McCain is cutting taxes more for rich people than for poor people? In what way could that possibly make sense?!

That his friends get richer while the people that work for them get poorer. Its Bush jr all over again

Killa Ken still has not answer my question !
Seriously, that gets old very quickly. Anyway, if you're asking him whether he thinks higher-paid people should pay less tax, you already have your answer - and that's 'yes'. I do believe that's the 'American Dream' in action. That, in case you weren't sure, refers to the unerring ability of some Americans currently getting stamped on to spite their own position in the vain hope that they'll soon be the ones doing the stamping. Clearly Killa_ken has 'caught' that particular contagion since emigrating.

I know, i just want him to say it. If he believes so strongly in it, say it.

I don't know how people can have so narrow views, do they not do math at school? taxing from the poor is not the most efficient way to get your money (if you are the government), and that did you pay attention in school? Or watch the news, the divide between the Haves and Have Nots has not so big that you only have to look at Zimbabwe.

Also, why are some Americans so afraid of the word Socialism? is it because its 1 word away from Communism ? The NHS is a Socialist idea, show me 1 person who isn't glad it's there and I can show you a million that think otherwise.

Final thought, have a watch of this, (contains swearing in parts), very funny

Don't post links if you know they have swearing in
