Thats it. This country has finally lost its marbles

The day Clarkson isn't allowed to say offensive things on Top Gear is the day I turn off the BBC permanently...well, except when Spooks is on!
 
Couldn't agree more. Just like the whole Woss/Brand thing this is nothing more than an attempt to get the masses to focus on something trivial rather than the real issue, which is that the whole country is fairly rapidly going down the pan.
 
Censorship in general is getting a little ridiculous. I watched an episode of Scrubs this morning; at a part where somebody normally gets their arm pulled off (in a funny rather than horribly violent way) the editors had clearly just completely cut it, not even very well! This was stuff that was being shown on TV without any complaints just a few months ago, and is getting faintly ridiculous.
 
On the next episode, Fingers crossed for the following comment from Mr Clarkson

"And a message to all viewers who complained last show... I hope you all die in a fire"

Wonder how that would go down at the BBC

No one stood up for Brand when they came for him, no one will stand up for Clarkson, when you make a inapropriate joke at the water cooler at work and they come for you, who will stand up for you?
 
Pfff people with no lives, stop ****ing whining about top gear, top gear is superb, one of the best tv series around, don't like it than turn off the bloody tv and shove something up your *** if you like that :mad:. I hope he will not apologize and continue to make such jokes...

Overly dramatic? You? Never?

Jeremy Clarkson makes a crass (but humourous) remark as he is wont to do, some people get uptight as they are wont to do and you now equate it to "full on tv sensorship(sic)"? Not even close, he'll take the slap on the wrist as per usual and carry on as before, the BBC has defended him thus far and shows no signs of pulling its support that I can see.

It may also be worth noting that Brand/Ross to Sachs was a directed offensive comment, this was a generalised one.
 
I really think JC should be PM.

Does anyone have an email for the BBC where I can tell them I am not complaining and believe the fags that find stuff offensive can **** off back up their arse.
