SKY ONE and other channels to come back to Virgin Media TV

Was gutted when I lost "Lost" but to be honest I then found another way of watching it (*cough Torrent *cough) without the adverts and enjoyed it a lot more so I doubt I'll go back to Sky One for it.

However having my channels back is fine by me...

Yes, when will we get some more HD channels? I can't get satellite as I live in a shared block but would love some more HD action. Is it a bandwidth problem?

Hopefully soon, I'm tempted to invest in a V Plus box now. Its only £75 installation, and you know as soon as they do manage to get more HD channels the price will jump up.

I can't stand sky one,

Program comes on / the intro plays / 5 minutes of adverts / program resumes for 5 minutes / Another bloody 5 minutes of adverts

I know, on skys own channels there should be no adverts, fair enough for non sky owned channels as they actually pay sky to be on there i believe, but the cheek of it, paying sky to watch tv and they still stick ads on their channels, what happened to the idea that when you pay for something you don't get adverts!?

Fringe is the only thing worth watching on it and simpsons i suppsose but you can watch that elsewhere.

You can watch most if not all of Sky One's material elswhere :D
Would be useful to have it available on some kind of Iplayer alternative and in HD though.

Must be a different Sky1 to what I watch. I get 4 advert breaks per 60 minutes. For a 1 hour show it's something like adverts at 10 mins, 30 mins, 50 mins and 57 mins. Advert breaks are 3 minutes I think.

Anything worth watching gets recorded anyway.

Meh skyone was no real loss to us virgin customers tbh.
Its all about SSN, praise the lord for sir jeff stelling.

I neither like, nor watch anything broadcast on Sky one at all so this will affect me zilch.

I could live with Sky News though.

This is total and utter FAIL. Not only have I just got SkyHD downstairs at a higher cost that getting VMHD, now the missus can kick me put of the livingroom and make me watch my stuff upstairs on VM

Yup, it was on news 24 about 5 minutes ago.
I suspect it will hit the bbc website in the next few minutes (I think the guardian have got it on their site already).

I hope it include the HD channels :)

Oh YES! I need more HD channels on my V+ as we only have BBC which is great but need more!!
