***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Bloodfeather was my first server ! have T6 mage there now :) but i'm alliance sorry :(

Boo. :P

Stay frost to level mate, I've levelled two mages and found frost much easier to level with, you have more surivabilty and you can control fights better.
Also when you hit the max level pvp for a bit, get used to playing a mage :)

Dammit, looks like I'll have to learn how to play him more.My mate who got me into wow showed me a few times what to do, its just getting used it it after not playing for a few months again. At least im in the right direction :) Thanks

Not sure if i should get wrath yet as im far off 70, cant see myself hitting it anytime soon ! Hm

Questing ? If so might wanna have a look around for "quest helper" and a nice map addon, "cartographer" would be my tip.

if you don't use addon's you should probably start, they will make leveling much faster and easier, and you're time in game will be better spent.

Aye ive got QH and a few other simple ones (one bag, titan bar etc)

Wrath is in less than a week, I spose its do able actually if I nail it :P

I'm a frost mage and listen to the man - levelling is deffo easier imo. Sure you tend to do less damage than a fire mage but you'll live longer. I hunted to 70 with my r/l m8 who is full fire (I'm frost spec). The number of times he died and I survived. It's little things like your water elemental and stuff thats pretty cool tbh.

You will be suprised how fast you level aswell. Especially 60-70 after the XP changes in outland.

I'm drood and have been hunting with a same level rogue (no rested XP) and I'm doing 250kxp in 2 hours approx and no downtime - getting a hunt partner always helps. Stops boredom and even though you share the XP it's just always better.

I agree with having a friend to level with, mainly because you don't get bored so quickly as you two will experience little things that keep you going.

Frost is the best way to level as a mage.

BTW I'd drop titan bar, maybe look into getting Fubar ?
Maybe get another bag addon, arkinventory ?

I shall have a look at the add ons you mentioned :) I used to use cosmos ui and it had everything, grew to love it. Since thats died I'm kinda in the wild on my own :P

Got my mate to help me now, hes a 70 warrior so should be fun :)

I've been playing since the start on Dragonmaw in a guild called iHORDE then moved with the guild to Frostmane a long long time ago.

What are your characters name?

Nice one, I moved there at the same time as you then from Shattered Hand, was a Hunter back in those days in Inspiration (now In Excelsis) and got the free migration to Frostmane when the realm opened. I'm not playing much atm as waiting for the expansion.. you'll find me on my ex-alt Mage "Kallicea" most of the time though (which will be main unless I decide to carry on as a Tank)..

With frost being the spec every mage goes now (lack of imagination i guess) its still the best for leveling fast, but elemenatalist is the most fun.

I've levelled up 2 mages, 2 paladins, 1 druid, 1 priest, 1 rogue and countless other pre 70 characters.

;)

I'd say lvl a mage as forst, just a bit better. I have mine at 64 and a bit and play my mates 70 mage sometimes. Lower hits but more CC means u can control stuff better as has been said.

Had my first outing in BT the other night on my warrior. I was 3rd tank and was pretty similar geared to the OT. We did to bloodboil and i got a good belt from him we will finish on sunday hopefully downing council and mother. I'm gonna work like hell at PVE in the expansion now i'm in a half decent guild!

Can't say i have, only really been up to glentress due to transport issues. Bike is in bits the now for a bearing change and i hope to get a car in the new year so i'm set to travel!

Playing wow does not = sado! Totallly depends on the person and how they get addicted stuff. Hardly the games fault that it is built to be addictive!

Not suprising though, is it? I expected the WAR one to be higher than that. Lots of people switched as they were bored of WoW, and wanted something to do before the expansion.

I'm really not looking forward to this expansion though - Blizzard seem unable to make expansions feel like expansions - they just make the old areas/zones/factions totally redundant.

I think I'd be happier if they just announced a pre-TBC server, old rules, like they've done with DAoC.
