Microwaved Burgers

I got some microwaveable chicken burgers in buns from Iceland the other week

I think they are alright (apart from one part of the bread soggy and the top being crunchy)

However I have now been banned from eating them around the girlfriend because they smell horrid apparently.

Rustlers are quite decent tbh, got to love all the people that think they are made from dog **** and are horrid. I guess they only eat burgers with 100% meat content.

They are full of ****

Beef Burger (45%), [Beef (75%), Beef Fat, Water, Textured Soya Protein (5%), Dextrose, Flavour Enhancer: E621; Salt, Sugar, Stabiliser: E451; Egg White Powder, Flavourings, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein, Malt Extract, Yeast Extract, Colour: E150c]

Look at the E numbers

Everyone likes different things. Some people might like them some people might not.

There I said it, might as well close the thread now.

I eat Rustler burgers now and again and I dont think they are too bad, just best not to look at them before you take a bite :p

as long as you dont live on them, they arent exactly gonna cause you any harm.

they taste alright for a quid!

Microwave burgers have the consitency of freshly vulcanised tyres. They have the nutritional content of 'dust' and are about as tasty as Baldricks recipe for "rat au' vin"

The only thing they are good for is for use in a puncture repiar kit for your tyres or as a replacement sole for your trusty doc marten boots.

Well if you're walking round with hamburgers as shoes, maybe they're actually aimed at people who can't afford expensive things such as yourself..or shoes.

Homemade beef burger

Contains :

Mince beef

Well that would just be the worst burger ever, and not actually work as a burger.

You forgot the breadcrumbs, egg and seasoning at least, not to mention the extras like finely chopped onion and crumbled blue cheese :D

Not the greatest things in the world but a quick snack thats warm and well sort of hits the spot there not too bad. Infact on Saturday i actually had 1 that was 6 days out of date i found in the fridge. bread was a bit soggy but the burger wasnt too bad

Yeah, but I was just point out how easy it is to make a burger.

I dont add breadcrumbs to my burgers, just chop up some garlic and add some egg to bind the meat.

Yum

What is wrong with pot noodle?

Nothing at all, just along as they're either Original Curry or Chicken & Mushroom flavour. :) Which reminds me, I'll have to go to Sainsburys later and pick a couple up, I won one of those "twirling forks" a week or so back and haven't tried it out yet. :D

I only discovered a couple weeks back they are made out of soya or something!, never bothered reading the labels :p
