Its not as if you are required to tip people. The worst thing is fancy bars and restaurants that just stick a service charge on your bill. So you havent really got much choice.
Any service charge added on to a restaurant bill is discretionary. You can chose whether or not to pay it at your discretion
does anyone ever tip in McDonalds?

We used to have it where I work and I didn't like people not knowing that they could turn down the service charge if they didn't think my service was good enough, so I'd let them know about it. Luckily I wasn't awful so the majority of the time I'd get tipped personally rather than having it go into the service pot![]()
Usually my tip is "Get a proper job you ape! Have a wash as well."They dont deserve tips...
Sorry, what? They save you the inconvenience of what? Delivering you own mail? Disposing of trash? That's what you pay council tax and postage for!!Postman and bin men get a tin of Quality Street for Christmas at my house. I know they get paid their own wage but they save me the inconvenience of doing it myself. Well deserved in my opinion.
You can't tip milkmen, they don't sleep standing up.
