But co op doing the same thing over and over and only enemy spawns changing will get old faster than a lot of people think imo.
Lets hope new maps/locations come thick and fast.

Nope, I've put in 20 hours into the demo. I am the type of person that gets bored of games rather quickly. L4D is something special.
 
Bit of a long shot this but I've got a friend who is desperate to play it tonight - has anyone got a spare code for the demo (I believe Gamestop were offering them) ? He's ordered the full game from a retail store (£10+ different from Steam even with 10% off!).... would appreciate it massively :)
 
well just as i thought my conn problems were fixed im gettin dumped every time i try and connect to a game

cant tell if its only VAC servers, ive disabled AV, firewall etc and no joy, cant see it bein a prob with my router that would be specific to this single game grrrrr its annoyin now cuz the game is splendid, at least from the official forums theres a few with similar probs

Gamestop is American no? You would be better off begging on NeoGAF forums or something, that thread is full of it.

Tell him to put his patience face on, it's only one more day!

Have you played it? Even in the demo things still get exciting, to say it's just lots and lots of zombies doesn't imply the brilliant dynamic pacing, fantastic atmosphere and a superb system that keeps you close to your buddies out of necessity.

If I were forced to chose the greatest aspect of this game, it would be re-playability.

Just played a game where three of us managed to get stuck in a room we couldn't open the door to get out of (and had to burn ourselves to death in order to get out). As well as finding new ways to beat it, I keep finding new ways to mess up :)
 
Anyone else seen that thread 'Idea for a mod for British people' on the Official Steam L4D forum, some funny comments and idea's to be found :D
 
Been playinf this for a few days now, its a really really fun game! Shotguns + Zombies + molotov cocktails = win in my book! Great fun!

Only got a day to wait anyhow, and im off work for god knows how long, so hopefully got enough time to catch up :)
 
I did the gamestop trick too to try the demo.

Liked the demo so much I ordered the game from a certain online store for £23 inc delivery, pre-order price. So far so good.

Only thing is, it say available for release on the 21st November. I just looked on Steam and it said it is available on the 18th November.

Is this right ? Do I have to wait even longer for not buying it for £34 on Steam ?
