Oh look, more publicity for X-factor, there's a surprise. It's still as pointless as it's always been.

I think people are starting to recognise the show for what it is, but the only time it will change is when the vast amounts of cash that they get from the phone votes dwindles.

Whats the bet that this week they will increase the forcing of the fact that if you don't vote for you favorite they will go (£££).
 
She isn't going to win the show, so why bring her back in? I'm sure she'll be happy to be bought back on the show to be voted off again at a later stage.

Agree, i didnt think she was all that. Ruth was better i dont understand how people think Laura was :confused:

I find it appalling that one of our elected representatives in parliament wasted time in Prime Minister Questions to bring this up.
 
I think that people should realise that the public choose who is in the bottom 2.
Even on Strictly, the public play a huge part, hence why John Sergeant is still in.

The judges can only pick between the 2 that are in front of them.

The rest of you, get over it, regardless of why people didnt vote for her, she didnt get enough votes so deserved to go.
 
First off, it's a tacky overlong talent show and doesn't really matter.

Second, it's all probably fixed - look at the result last year.

Third, the singer in question may or may not be a good singer technically. I'm not in the business and don't know enough to make a judgement. I do know that on the rare occasions I've caught this series and heard her sing it seem to me there is loads of technique and sound but it's damned unpleasant to listen to. I would never buy her records, would never go to hear her sing live, and would change channels if she was on TV or radio for any significant period of time.

Fourth, at the risk of being disrespectful to a lady, she is not particularly good looking.


EDIT: PS I quite like "Britain's got talent".

Does playing the piano and having a great natural voice not count as the above?.

Its a total fix though as Daniel is well below par and shouldn't have made the live shows.

However, As long as there's some eye candy I'll be happy.

Daniel was chosen as a family favourite to last a few weeks then be voted out, leaving the better singers left in.
There is no way the best 4 from each group were put through, the finalists are chosen so that certain ones stay in for longer where as others fall by the wayside early.
Atleast, that is the intention, but the randomness of voting can screw things, especially when you have Moyles trying to get people to keep Daniel in for longer :D
 
Utterly pathetic. It's a 'competition', some people will lose. Get over it. :rolleyes:

I wish Daniel would get booted though :(

Not exactly.

I don't think she was voted off.

I reckon the public assumed that most people would keep her in, as she was clearly one of the best entrants, and put their votes towards people more in need of them to stay in the comp, like Daniel.

This seems to have messed things up and ended up putting her in the bottom 2.

The only people that have impressed me, even if they have their own little annoying habits, are Laura, Alexandra and Diana.

The rest are all meh imo
