UFC 91 - Couture v Lesnar

Better be! The last match which had this much hype lasted 16 seconds!!

Who was involed?

Haha thats quality, i think big Nog will run over Mir and then hopefully go on to become the Undisputed Champion which is what he deserves with all of this Interim crap he had going on.

Unless Lesnar catches him with a lucky "huge" punch, it's Nogueira's fight :)

Well if we do get to see the matchup its going to be a hell of a war. We know Nog has a chin of steel and takes huge amount of punishment. Will Brock have learned his lesson about how quickly the Jitz guys can sub him like in the Mir fight? So dominant yet one lapse in concentration / lack of knowledge, and it was over for him.

If Nog could pull a guard it would be interesting to see how Brock would fair against a top level ground game as evolved as Nogs is. Perhaps we shall see if he has learnt much in his fight against Couture but all will be revealed shortly :)

i too am waiting to see the outcome of this fight
wouldnt bet against either
but
if lesnar comes charging like he normally does and randy sidesteps
brock will go thru the octagon fence:D
if its not won inside 1st 2 mins i bet on randy

There is an awful lot of promotion for this HUGE fight over here right now!

Really can't wait for this and hope it delivers - I'll be routing for the monster that is Lesnar !!! :D - just watched his training video and it's pretty intense!

I really want couture to win, i have always liked him but big brock annoys the **** out of me.

I think if randy can survive the initial storm (2-3 mins of round 1) then it will be his fight. But that will be tought cos lets face it we know what lesnsar is going to do.... hes gonna come running and swinging for the fences.:p

Mon the NATURAL!!!!!!!!

I really do feel that Lesnar has enough cardio to keep the intensity that he will carry up untill around halfway through third round, after that i think he will struggle and possibly leave many openings for randy to take advantage of. That said i really don't think it will go that long. Unless randy will try and employ the lay and pray tactics

I agree that lesnar will have enough cardio keep going, just that if randy can survive the initial attack then he will exploit one of brocks mistakes.

Dont get me wrong, i think lesnar is very dangerous and an athlete and lets face it he really could win.

The one who will be laying and praying though is brock. Thats his main tactic, get on top. Stay on top.

Randy will be looking to dirty box IMO.

I know, and it starts at 03:00, and then it'll be a while before the heavyweight bout on top of that :(

Anyone here going to be watching it live?

I'll be watching, as I'm used to it now, what with a UFC event on live once a month and Setanta having lots of live boxing as well.

I think Florian v Stevenson will be fight of the night myself and the main event could easily be spent on the floor and it'll be interesting to see how Randy copes with Lesnar's size and strength.

Will watch it either tomorrow morning when i wake or later at night when wife and boy are asleep
