Poor old Wii doesn't get any upgrades. Still outsells the others by a large amount, though.

do people seriously buy gifts just cos it's the 'must have' item? (Must have bening defined as : many other people are buying it) If so that's pretty sad.

I expect some people do, however they are generally products released late in the year so that by Christmas time they are widely available...
