***Official Wrath of the Lich King Thread***(Contains spoilers)***

Blizzard have no idea how to do the weekly maintenance its shocking, They really should start it at an earlier time - Test whatever they are going to do a few days before the weekly slot..shocking stuff.

I'm at 64 as I'm levelling with my partner whos incredibly slow (on my DK) and moans if I go and rush ahead, which lucky for me, Eu realms are down until 2pm which means she won't moan I level while shes at work.

You might wanna think about wow peak times...

Most people play wow til 1/2am..

I know my guild raid until 1.30am. So the times are right. 10am is only 9am UK time. so its right for the uk.

Got 76 and a half last night and so far i don't actually think anyone could say they could be stuck to level given the sheer amount of quests that are to do. i did a full dragonblight last night and it took me around 5 hours and I was only just getting done with the achievemnt came to another small camp of quests.
Not sure if i will bother with the unfreezing wings just yet as my current char doesnt have epic flying so will hardly be worth it.
Don't know how long each level is taking me but i would assume its around the 6 hour mark which just feels so long but hey its not even 1 week into the expansion I wasnt even expecting many people to be close to 80 let alone 100+ on the server alone.

I'm really enjoy the xpac so far. Much better than TBC imo with regards to art and design. No more silly clown items which is quite nice..

I'm only level 71 so far and am also really enjoying the new stuff that I've seen. Howling Fjord is the only zone I've thoroughly explored and I'm very impressed - the forest/snow area is atmospheric, the castle bit in the moutains is well designed and very reminiscent of AoC. Then you have the open area around Utgarde Keep - the increased draw distance makes it all look very impressive, and the keep is quite imposing the way it looks down on the town below. All in all, it seems much grittier than the cartoony sci-fi zones in TBC.

This may have already been asked and answered but is it just me or do all the dungeons seem damm easy.

Lots of people have said this. The problem the designers have is that TBC was 2 years old, so lots of people have good kit. However, they have to make the dungeons accessible to people who are just levelling up and have Outland greens and blues. On the other hand, I'd have hoped that the heroics would be a good step up in difficulty but apparently this isn't the case.

some of the heriocs are pretty tough, halls of lightning, azjol nerub and few others we have done, especially some trash who give u some nasty debuffs!

already cleared all the content in the game atm naxx 25man cleared OS 25 man cleared and we finally down malygos last night after 17 hours of wipes was mega mega fun!

we finally did naxx 10 man and the only fight i never had done pre naxx was loatheb so last night i got to finally tank him which was pro fight! u really do need some sick healers for this fight!

I wanted to ask about the Alliance Vanguard reputation, now how do you get it? I understand Valliance Experdition, etc come under that name. So if I get exalted in one can I get exalted Vanguard awards? I am asking as I want the plans for Mekgineers Chopper, but don't know if i need to grind exalted for the 3 factions under the Vanguard banner or just 1.

is called SBF buff bars

i have long term buffs top left, short time buffs like bloodlust weapon and trinket procs above my unit frame and debuffs the left!

I get paid tonight (midnight by BACS transfer ) so i was gonna buy online from the account page. I just looked and its £29.99 :mad::eek:

I can goto asda and get it for 19.99 or buy it online for 17.99 with FREE delivery AND i get a box and dvd's!.... yet blizz want the full £5 MORE than the RRP for a digital code only download? they have to be kidding...

I was seriously expecting it to be £19.99 for a digital purchase. Blizzard really do love raking it in any way they can.

I downloaded it from Blizzard's servers (the connection speed was pretty good - up to 1.4mb/sec) and then bought the game from ASDA. This was before you could actually buy the key direct from them. If you have a fast connection, set it off downloading, take a drive to the shop and save yourself some time installing it from disc when you return :)

Taurenia, my Level 72 Unholy Death Knight on EU Dragonblight Horde. This is a screenshot of me in my tank gear (mostly crafted Cobalt plate). I'm still crittable as I have only 457 defense but I don't think it matters much considering how easy early dungeons are.

I've specced 5/5/X http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=j0xZ0xZfg0I0foMcqMcsup so that I can level efficiently as well as tank any instance on the way. I find questing faster and more fun as you get to do all these exciting quests and read up on lore, so I haven't tanked much other than Nexus (which was easy).

Jumping up and down is silly, but it really helps on Keristrasza, lol.

My rotations are as follows.
DPS: IT, PS, SS, SS, BS, BS. RS if I dodge/block/parry, UB if I have the RP and DS if I need to get back some health. On AoE, I make sure I stick in Pestilence after IT and PS.
Tanking: DnD, IT, PS, Pestilence, and spam DS. UB and BB as soon as they are ready. I rarely use SS and BS here. DS is amazing, can crit over 2k meaning healers can afford to slack :)

The only thing I miss though after playing a Paladin is an AoE taunt, but providing the DPS don't do anything stupid, a quick DnD should be enough to get them back to me in addition to Dark Command and Death Grip.

Overall, I'm loving this expansion. I was originally going to start an Alliance DK and start with Howling Fjord, but then I rode into Warsong Hold and the music just decided it for me; I will start in 'Boring' Tundra instead. The music that blares out in Dalaran too gives me goosebumps. Then there are the quests, so much variety and much lore, not the usual '20 X slain' or 'gather 10 X'.
