Ah, that was it then.
In my haste I must've missed what was going on.

When I first played it, and jumped into the spectra, and it said "clear" I thought I may have missed something, so when I went back, and jumped into one, and it didn't clear, and the next one did... well, never mind, I thought maybe there were things to collect, and a seperate exit, and I was exiting too soon.

I'll have a proper play tomorrow hopefully.
From what I did see, I did like it, and think it has potential to be great fun.
Nice to see quite a few friends playing it too, some already unlocking trophies!

I've just purchased the full game of this but can someone explain to me what your ranking score is actually based on, say I collect all 5 on the first garden do you just take ages to do it getting as many points as possible or is it based on the time it takes you to complete the level also?
 
yea i noticed that too, i wish the score system was deeper because on my attempt on garden 1 i was just keeping myself alive by combos. i only finished the level because i got bored (and at the time i would have been top of the leaderboard by a long way anyway... not that that lasted :D)

but yea i was thinking then that it probs would be the same for the other gardens except a bit harder. i havent seen past garden 7 yet though, too busy with sc4 right now :p
 
How is everybody getting on with this? I've done all the seeds and spectra in gardens 1-5 but having great difficulty on 7 and above. There's one level where the whole screen orientation tips around which makes me go giddy.

Yeah it does start to get quite hard. I'm the same but i haven't played it for ages.

I'm on garden 7 as well but I'm going through the game at a rate of about 1 spectra a week.:)
 
I can't recall how far I am but I think I did all 10 gardens and am just missing some spectra in the 2 "mavity" levels. Awesome game, shame they have not added any levels to it yet.

Boy, level 10 is hard. I just unlocked it and played several times in the last hour - I can't even see a single spectra let alone catch one.
 
yea that map is a huge case of trial and error with the mavity and the size of the map >.<.

without revealing the locations of all the spectra, if you generally go north from the starting point you will find the first, i personally found it easier continuing around the map in a clockwise motion though there are many possible routes :)

I've just realised the whole key to this game is to use the SIXAXIS downward thrust mechanism. It releases far more pollen from the prowlers when you bash into them with this maneouvre. D'oh!

I managed most of the game without it tbh, as it is quite hard to do the motion. I seriously think they need to map that action to a button instead.

Nearly there.... I've got one more spectra to get on garden 10 and then it's 50/50. This game has been well worth the money, providing hours of enjoyment (read: frustration). :D

pffft..... PixelJunk Mosters trophies is where it's at :p

I don't think I ever completed Eden, couldn't be bothered to get all the spectres in the 2 mavity gardens, done everything else though.

Oh I got that one, I just mean I have not got/going for all the trophies, which I assume ic1male is going for.

One of them was some 3 player crap, to this day I showed one of my mates PixelJunk Eden. The expression on his face, if translated to words, when I told him it was PS3 game I lied a lot, would not be repeatable on this forum. I doubt I would convince 2 others to play this game and enjoy it enough to get the trophy (plus the trophy was rubbish it was doing some acrobatic crap that had no relation to the game imo).

Oh no, I'm not going for all trophies. I meant just the 50/50 spectra. Whether I shall go and tackle the Open All Seeds in each garden trophies, I do not know. It took all my energy getting these 49/50 spectra.
