Always loved this tune, and hearing Eric Morillo play it on the outside main stage at Global Gathering 07 made it priceless. Even the rain couldn't spoil it :D.

Never fails to put a smile on my face and make me want to start dancing whatever my mood :).

Not entirely sure why though, they are just the sort of song that, whenever you hear the intro, you know you are in for a real tune. They are both just special!

Whoever mentioned Heartbeats by The Knife, good lad :) Great shout-doesn't give me the tingles, but it's a fantastic song!

EDIT: Oh, and the lullaby from Pan's Labyrinth.

That's the one I was referring to :D

I've got the deluxe edition of it and imo it really is garbage (apart from Heartbeats of course). There's some interesting sounds here and there but my ears start to bleed when the 'singing' starts.

Each to their own I suppose. :)
 
Actually Lucie Silvas did a decent cover of Nothing Else Matters, I thought I'd hate it with a passion but I have to say I prefer the original.
 
Too many to mention for me. Although 'most' ballads sung by heavy-isg rocks bands like Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Metallica etc.
Linkin Park: 'Leave out all the rest'. Ever since my step-son who has cystic fibrosis told us it was what he wanted playing at his funeral, me and his mum can't listen to it any more :(

Most Hans Zimmer stuff gives me goosebumps, not emotionally sad, but powerful stuff.

Eric Clapton: 'Tears in Heaven'. His strength to write/record/perform this in light of what happened to his son is very moving indeed.
