Weekend Footy 22nd-24th November *Spoilers*

Wenger's a moron, he punished the one player who actually wanted to make public exactly what trouble there is at Arsenal, and we play Hoyte who, I can't seem to get the game at the moment, I'm going to say wasn't having a good game when I was watching.

He then does his usual, awful arsenal create nothing 1-0 down, make changes? no of course you wait till the games over at 2-0 down, then you bring on a right winger, for the right back, throw defense out the window. We'll do his wonderful desparation formation which is, every striker possible on the pitch, where ever they want. Then bring on a defensive player and play him out of position, then have them all create nothing because of zero balance in the team and no one knowing what they are doing, then lose.

Its still hilarious that we STILL had the easiest start to the season of any club, and while this isn't a easy win, City certainly aren't playing great and 4 years ago we'd be playing for the and might get it, we're a different club now with a decided crap squad, with ridiculous levels of injuries, everyone hates each other and Wenger consistantly picks the wrong team time and time again.

Seriously Hoyte, against a couple of very fast tricky players when he has no pace at all, or Gibbs, one of the fastest players in the team, whose consistantly looked good in the last year, and play Clichy against Robinho.................. how can you get that decision completely wrong?

I don't get why you are laughing at your own teams misfortunes.

Because it's not a freak result, or we're being screwed in one way or another (not today)..it's probably my way of showing displeasure at what's happened at our club. Also you can't cry if you're laughing fella... :p

He needs a Defensive Midfielder, a Right-Winger, a Central Defender and a Goalkeeper.

Exactly what we knew in the Summer. They also need to drop this famous Arsenal passing style at times and physically dominate teams and pressure the oppositions goal.

what can Wenger do at the moment though? The players are just not performing the way they did last season.

Different team really.

Fabregas was on form, Ade was trying (both were on the pitch too ;) ) and Flamini and Hleb were both brilliant.

Denilson, Diaby and Song just aren't good enough.

lol poor arsenal

i really feel sorry for them...

and is it true Bendtner is wearing pink boots?

hes crap

you got that bit right at least, well not really a right winger. Frankly RVP should be played there, against spurs he starts on the right and moves in, he also starts deep, he's played for us there numerous times over the years and is brilliant there, hell, denilson has played there and been ok. Defensive midfielder though for sure, without question, or at least, play one of our many defensive players in that position. Why Eboue or Toure have been completely overlooked all season in favour of Denilson there I do not know.

Goalkeeper, yes and no, a goalkeeper will always look worse if he's under more pressure. Cech looked so good years ago, because he had so few saves to make in the first place. We sort out defensive midfield and instantly the knock on effect is that the back 4 have it much easier and get much better, the knock on effect from that is the keeper has far less saves to make in a game and the chances those saves are from are often worse due to better defending. He's shown he "can" be brilliant, but we are so woeful defensively he's simply under pressure constantly game in game out. I mean, he was pretty much good-great most of last year, there isn't a keeper in the world who doesn't have a few bad games a year, even the best behind the best defenses make mistakes.

A better keeper, maybe, but who? I guess my point is, we have FAR bigger problems that need addressing far sooner than a new keeper.

Our seasons fantastic, can't wait for the Chelsea game now, were on Fire! :(

I really would like to see Wenger hold his hands up and say "yes, I made a mistake in the summer, I didn't sign enough or the right players". If for once he could admit he's made a mistake I'd be a tad happier!

I don't think I can watch anymore. Absolute disgrace.

Are you talking about Arsenal? I mean...I asked about tickets for this and I'm so glad I didn't go. I can hack being beaten by a better team. I can hack some of the crap refereering decisions we've had this season, our bad luck with injuries etc. I can't ****ing hack the team that's put out there clearly not being arsed.

We've one of the highest wage bills in the Premiership, which is for such a young squad. No wonder these millionaire kids can't be bothered to perform EVERY SINGLE WEEK.

Thing is - if we get a few players back, Cesc, Adebayor...then we might have a chance. As the Man UTD game showed - we can beat the other top 3 sides (haha, I'm saying that as if we belong there this season). I reckon we might pinch a result.

I agree, personally if I was Wenger I'd play RVP on the right side and play Adebayor and Bendtner/Vela (when fit) now that your 2 right-sided players are out for and extended time.

I'd also be tempted to drop Denilson (who I do rate, but isn't playing well) in favour for young Jack and Fabregas (as above, when fit) in the middle - at the end of the day, he's not going to do any worse.

What does strike me about Arsenal, and I said this last season when the whole 'Gallas is an idiot' palava started is that on the pitch you don't have anyone you would class as a natural leader of men and you haven't had one since Gilberto was released.

With the tight purse strings at Asburton Grove I'd be putting a solid bid in for Bullard as a cheap DMC solution, if only temporary til the seasons close.

Frankly, even that game if Rooney and Ronaldo hadn't had really their worst performances in a while, we would have easily lost that game, and just limiting them to 4-5 golden chances we had to pack midfield and to get Denilson to stay in position defensively we had to actually play him behind the midfield 4 rather than alongside them, and even then we were easily played through.

Ade will do nothing if he comes back in, nothing will happen till Wenger sorts it.

I more and more think Gallas, and Toure have been dropped due to questioning Wenger. I'm sorry but those two last year, 3 losses TOTAL. Toure's a great defender, theres talk of him wanting out. Flamini, surely was offered a decent contract, he might have left for only money, but maybe he wanted out for other reasons aswell, doesn't think its going well. Song shouldn't be at the club let alone starting first team games, possible the same for Hoyte. Gilberto again was just let leave, Hleb clearly wanted out. Henry smegged off fairly easily without really caring.

This team, this formation can't beat Chelsea, its that simply, we CAN put out a team from our squad that can beat them(ignoring injuries) but Wenger won't ever choose the right team. We've become a joke, and yet again today its a game that we lost and we played awfully while losing.

Do I think Fabregas might leave this summer if this club fails to get Champs league footie, very possibly.
