Perfectly fine for gaming, you "should" have zero problems even in the darkest of games.

Well I wouldn't buy one if I was just going to use it for games and media, I'd get a sub £300 one instead.

It's a monitor for serious work as well as entertainment but no point spending £400+ if it's just going to be used for entertainment I'd say.

Is it going to have consoles plugged into it as well and other devices ?

I have a PS3 and XBOX 360 Elite. But I use thoes on my 2 Plasma TV's (Panasonic 42PZ85 + 37PX70).

I will just be using it on my PC. My PC's specs are in that thread. ;) I will be using it for normal use liker internet mainly then gaming. I dont have any calibration devices so it will have to be good out of the box.

In that case I'd recommend something a bit cheaper, there's quite a few to choose form that are VA based - majority of which have been posted about on this section of the forum :)

I guess it boils down to the features you're after and the looks now!

I dont really need features. All I really need on it is a DVI or HDMI port on it. And a good picture quality. And something that will last. And then something that looks good. People have said good about the Acer G24, it is a bit expensive and does not look good tho. People have also said the BenQ V2400W is good. I dont mind paying £50 more or something if the monitor is better. And if it will last longer.

These two are coming out they should be around £200 and have good spec. But it's the resolution, do you think it will be OK?
