If the person you are lvelling with is more than 4 levels higher or lower than you, then you dont get the bonus XP or summoning. You also lose the benefits when you ding 61 (I think).

Im having a lot of fun, have just dinged 74. Im doing each zone one at a time, making sure I do every quest available and get the quest achievement for each place. After comleting BT and HF, Im now just starting Dragonblight, beginning with the Wrath Gate quest chain.
 
Odd - when I tried it with my 70 Druid the summoning button was greyed out and definitely could not be used. Same for my mate who I was grouped with. We were 50 levels apart at that stage though.
 
Has to be on the same server as your 55+ char is on.

I thought they said if you had one high lvl char you could roll the DK on any server. Thats not the case sadly :(

No you can't.

You can pay for a transfer fee.

On my server a lot of people are going back to their old classes finally. Numbers are settling a little.

The first week or so the DK was new people seemed to think it could 1 shot bosses, do 50,000 dps by just being in the same area as a bad guy, and when hit not needing to be healed.

I am astounded how people think the class is "special" still, not pointing to anyone, but it always makes me laugh when people are laughing about soloing a few mobs with a DK, when mages, warlocks, priests, warriors, paladins and every other class is doing the same thing.
 
Would it be possible to transfer a character to another server, and then roll a DK on that server but on the opposite faction?

Edit: if this is not possible then how long does it take these days to level up to 60?

No lifer or ...?

If no lifer it can be done "fairly" comfortable in a week, with questhelper and a decent leveling guide.
 
Was sucked in today, saw the collectors edition on a shelf and had to take it home.

Wasn't going to start playing again ._.

I played absoloutely loads of WoW, got to rank 13 in PvP, never really played TBC though so my character is level 70 with gear mostly still from level 60, pretty hard going in Northrend atm.
 
so my guild teamed up with another today and went into heroic 25man naxx.

Seems rather easy think we took all but 4 bosses. Patchwork kinda owned our tanks tho but generally seems way too easy. :(

one good thing is its nice to see demonology locks are raid viable. most of the raid was 1/2 epic some nearly full, i was in mostly blues and usually around 7th on dmg. Never done naxx before which made it a bit harder

Cleared Naxx 25man tonight, first Horde guild on server to do so, beaten by alliance, but still :)

Dinged 80 yesterday and have 4 25man lvl 80 epics *** :p
 
Hit level 80 last night, finally can start some heroics and raids again (only 10mans for now, not enough at 80 in guild yet for 25s) :p
 
Got my Deathknight to level 80 yesterday and I'm now trying to gear him up to tank the heroics.

Think I'm just going to have to run lots of instances to get Wyrmrest and Argent Crusade rep to get some better gear :)
 
Anyone else just like me and has no drive to level up at all?

I'm sat at 76 atm.... can't see myself having muhc time this week tbh.. and weekend is packed out.

hate it :(
 
i gave on on DK after a few days.....was incredibly boring!

well back on my Pala now and level 76, this game is now incredibly easy.....soloing group quests and so forth.

Yeah i was in the same boat as you the other week.

Looking at the game now, its completely pathetic.

There are 4 guilds that i know on my server clearing all the released content in the game and its been what......2 weeks?

The other people who are not in these guilds are around 73-77 range. I guess it shows that this was built for the casuals. The age of warcraft being hardcore are gone, now its time for the welfare brigade.

Might try vanguard now, 4 years of warcraft destroyed by an expansion so easy a 6 year old could do it.
