Spec me some activities with the missus ?

Think I am statring to run out of ideas where to take my girlfriend out. We do all the usual things i.e pictures, local restaurants for dinner, also done a few walk-abouts with our cameras as we are both failty keen on photography. Now I am trying to think of some special / one off things we can do.

I though about trying to get some reservations for the oXo Tower restaurant but they are currently not taking any bookings till after the new year and I know there is a pretty long waiting list. So I was thinking about maybe other fancy restaurants in London or maybe theatre. I know she likes musicals but I have not got any idea what is currently running in the west end.

Any suggestions ?

Problem with fancy restaurants is they will most likely be booked up to the hilt.

Cannot help on the restaurant front in London, but you can get Dinner and a Show tickets, with the dinner usually being at a nice place from websites such as last minute.

As for Musicals, the wife loves these, and so far I have treated her to Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, Grease and Dirty Dancing. I would strongly recommend Chicago and Dirty Dancing based on the wifes opinion.

I can recommend a restaurant boat trip on the Thames at night. Either that or take her round mine and I'll entertain her for a bit whilst you ponder your next move.

Take her to a motorway services for a burger, Tell her you are going to the Loo but get in the car & drive home. Time how long it takes for her to get back home & work out a points system that you can bet on with your mates.

London Eye? Ballet? A Comedy night? Theatre? An art gallery?

Find a local what's on, pick the first thing that looks interesting and do that.
