So...from a test I conducted a while ago (not that long ago *cough*) out of my own curiosity ended up with 16.5cm when it's up...erm I used a 15cm ruler and then approx additional 1.5cm above it. Note that you lose a few milimeters when you use a ruler as the measurement starts a few milimeters in...not that I want to make a point of it or anything http://www.dreamstime.com/a-15-cm-ru...umb2341682.jpg

Sounds normal dude, or at least what I had thought was normal. Tbh the results aren't worth jack, as mentioned earlier in the thread.
