Has anybody actually won on this show? The prize seems to get bigger and bigger as the weeks go on... it seems OTT to me...

Good way to rake in the £1's from phone calls and text's.

they showed a lorry rolling up to some guys house a couple of weeks back. 27 grands worth of stuff was unloaded into his house.

he said "its like christmas"

It's getting to the point that 1/2 the show is taken up listing the stupidly long prize pool, which includes numerous takes on the same technology.
i.e this week it included 3 different food blenders.
And three top end digital cameras.

I can't help but think the comps are intended to create new Kings Of Ebay.

pretty much everything from the episode gets given away, along with a few extras.
nothing wrong with that imo.

The gadget show is full of annoying Apple lovers, they seem to slate anything that isn't a mac.

I remember one ep where they were reviewing mp3 players, and despite criticising an ipod heavily, they still gave it like 53 out of 10. WTH?

I remember that. It went something along the lines of "although the zen has better sound quality, we had to give the iPod the win due to it's design ". At that moment I turned it off.

It's rubbish mainly. I tuned into the ISP one and it was pretty bad. They aren't much more clued up than your average joe.

Ain't watched it in ages but I had nothing to do before so I decided to watch it. Can really see why I stopped watching it.

- Hardly anything reviewed, it just seems they like doing 360 shots and head to head challenges.

- as stated in the post 10 minutes of the show is taken up by the prize pool being read out.

- They don't compare merits properly. comparing a £600 phone to a £75 phone their really is no contest the best value is the one 1/6 of the price as most people who watch it wont spend £600 on a home phone.

Poor show now I cant stand watching it, the only good aspect about watching it is for seeing Suzi perry but their's no cleavage so i may as well just go on t'internet.
