Was going to get this for my girlfriend for Christmas... But as a bit of a fan of The Killers myself (Never heard a bad song from them) I don't think I can wait til then, let alone her!
I've never heard an album so horifically gay. Literally, i felt like putting fairy lights around my neck and putting on a tutu whilst singing along to some of it.
Amazing album. Was worried after my first listen but its a huge grower!
Just bought ridiculasly overpriced tickets to see them but I dont care, i just cannot wait.
its grown on me a bit but joy ride is such tosh its actually shocking, why have they changed direction so badly since hot fuss? i wait in hope that they produce another hot fuss, although extremely doubtfull.
As someone who doesn't really listen to this genre of music, but really likes 'When You Were Young', are there any tracks in a similar vein in this album?

spacemans about as close as it gets to the 'larger' (only way i can think to describe it) sound of those sort of tracks, but the rest are more focused around his vocals.
Just picked this up myself, looking forward to giving it a listen.
Absolutely loved Human when I heard it, sounds a lot more like an anthem song like the singles from Hot Fuss became, rather than the pap that was Sams Town
I've given it a listen through , and find it quite dissapointing. I'll try give it another chance but all the tracks just seem to merge into each other and none of them are particularly distinctive.
