Simple question. What do you pay in rent on your flat/house every month? I'm in the market for a place to rent but want to get a general idea what people pay each month. Also mention the general area where you live. If you feel uncomfortable telling where you live for fear of an OCUK'er coming for you in the depth of night, only mention the region. Thanks.

£550 month for a double bedroom in a 2 bedroom place. Village just outside of Maidenhead (Berkshire). :)

My last place was about £370 pcm for a largish bedroom with ensuite shower room in a new build - Cambridge

£625, for a 1.5 bed flat (study) in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. Was on the market for £675 but I knocked them down. Still too much for a £130-160k flat imho.

Fantastic area, so the fact it's overpriced is a bit of a minutia. Well, geographically convenient is what I meant by fantastic, I can be in a shop in 2mins, work within 15mins by foot, train station within 10... etc.

$420 a week (in australia - about £720/month) it's ******* expensive 2 bedroom furnished apartment in Perth! On the plus side, there is plenty of well paid work here.

£425 PCM in a 2 bed semi bungalow in Dumfries, SW Scotland.

About average for the area really, that said, a 3 bed semi House across the road was up for o/o 575pcm not so long ago.

3 bed semi in bristol, with garage and extension: £925
single room in shared house in slough: £400

last place

3 bed smaller semi with garage (nothing compared to the current place): £960 in Crawley

£950 pm for a 3-bedroom apartment in High Wycombe, Bucks.

Edit: Should add I live with two friends so it's split between the three of us.

Our house is £1600 a month, split equally between 4 tenants so £400 a month.

Seven Sisters in North-East London :)
