Lapland New Forest

Is it me or is elf pointing a rifle at the punters?

What an awful sight (seeing pictures). Its more festive in our back garden that that, and my dad we'll do all the food you could want.

What a sham.

LOL @ The website;

We have deliberately under-priced the park (yes, we believe you'll agree that the experience could be priced higher) as we are as tired as any and everyone with not often receiving good service and value for money and in this sad time of mismanaged economy, gloomy broadcast recession and unending price increases et al - we are especially proud to be constructing a truly magical and affordable event that will not only employ many people, but will help warm 1000's of young and grown-up visitor's hearts for Christmas and the New Year 2009.

Oh dear!

I think it was one of the parents complaining that their little Johnny was upset at queuing in the rain for two hours to see Santa and get a £2 gift, then the pig ugly elf pulled out a AK47 and said "sling your hook no refunds here".

Some comedy gold on this thread below, all those parents who got ripped off and are a bit angry.

It's not an actual scam though, as they got a lapland themed event, it was just extremely bad. I didn't write to my MP when I was owned by buying FarCry 2.

Lapland post climate change perhaps. Its probably in the small print somewhere.
Can't believe people are forking out £30 a head even if it was genuine.

some poeple spamming from their onwards:

"been to lap land new forest today and my children had the time of there lives it was magical real live animals wonderful tunnel of light great present from santa the food is better and more reasonable in the funfair side all except the lovely german sausages in the wonderland near santas grotto they are awesome the icerink is reasonable at £5 for one hour my tip is get ther about 3 just before it gets dark and eat in the funfair the doughnuts were great"
- for a start the ice-rink was broken

"Hello all I have just come back from lapland and it was amazing. I got there at 130 and it was a stunning, especially as got little darker as you the lights are more affective. I would say the later you go the better as then you get the full benefit of the lights etc and the presents from father chritsmas far exceeded my expectations."
-posted the day before the opening.

lol so damn funny, im in tears :D :D hahahh
but this made me a bit sad
Do not go. We went today and my son was so upset he cried for most of the time (and he's 8!) At bedtime he said it was terrible and an awful day.

This was our Xmas present from my Dad. I now have to tell him that we didn't enjoy it.

If you have tickets, try and get a refund any way you can. I shall be contacting Trading Standards and Watchdog. Words can not express my feelings at the end of what was meant to be a magical day.

Oh man, still in tears here! They paid for some magical winter wonderland and ended up in somewhere resembling Bosnia, some of these pictues are great, especially the 'bustling christmas market'.

'The day was supposed to be a Christmas treat for the grandchildren but turned out to be more like a punishment.' - LOL
