Could have been, last night anywhere between 6-8pm if I remember correctly.

It was easy, but didn't notice lag, it's my steam which is causing problems, constantly losing connection with steam, timeing out etc etc. never happens with css or tf2, but L4D is a mess. Dont worry about the server.

Play around with your rates...might help.

I'm up for that. Not around tonight but will be on tomorrow if you can wait. If you can't then lets have a crack at Blood Harvest when I get back. Its the only one I havent done.

Sounds quite likely that it was mine then - Did you see any of the following people on there: FrenchTart (me), Mr Tortoise, uv [OcUK], Sickles, Flibbble, Inky?

Sorry to ask about it a lot - I obviously want to double-check I'm right before I go poking around with the dedi :)

(Btw, I'm not worried about it lagging. I know it doesn't do that, but the occasional level change crash (just for the vs server) and/or the easy setting stuff is a bit irritating)

Cheers, saw a few things to try on a few forums, but wil try a total steam deletion and re-install first, then probably download it from steam rather than use the install disc.

Nope don't think it was you lot, it was a massive VS game with lyon, rob1986 and others, don't worry about it. I'm sure your servers are fine, but can't see the 8 player one atm.
 
I wanna do "No Mercy" as I have not even done that level yet! Will be on about 7.30ish if any of my regular playing buddies wanna join me for a Zombie getogether party.Will start up a lobby so keep your eyes peeled.
 
L4D finally managed to properly scare the crap out of me last night, was playing with 3 mates on expert campaign, I think it was no mercy, we were in the sewers, tank comes, kills my 3 mates, one of them says 'get in the side passages they're too small for it', so I do that, and get to the back of it so I can move to the sides to avoid his rock throw. I strafe left behind the passage to avoid a rock throw, and strafe back right expecting to see him at the end of the small tunnel roaring with frustration. Instead he's right in my face, clipping through the walls...I properly screamed in terror...

Sounds like a plan, the last level of Blood Harvest is a right laugh in the house.

I get these all the time. When the mic is on I try and turn it into a scream of berserker rage, but I'm not sure I convince anyone.

To me it often sounds like manic laughter after i have just been nailed and you're running away :p. Is all in the name of good fun though.

Ah, good stuff :)

I'll check on the status of the servers now. The problem is that when a server isn't in use it can be grabbed by a lobby group and will happily change to whatever gametype they choose...and then stay on that gametype once they're done/leave. Quite annoying.
