Yeah same here, I came into York from Leeds (Bramley) and had to almost dig the car out and skidded and slipped all the way I took me 3 and a half hour to get to work this morning ! 30 mile journey.

York its self isn't bad at all not even an inch of snow, Leeds was like 4 times as bad. Doesn't really take much for the road network to buckle around York.

A1237 was like a car park and the A64 wasn't really much better.

It was pretty bad in Darlo this morning, called into work and they said I had to try and make it in. Took me 2 and a half hours to get to Peterlee, been here 30 mins and now they're sending everyone home :rolleyes:

Getting snowed in here in Houghton-le-Spring (Nr Washington/Sunderland), i woke up about half 3 this morning and it was coming down heavy, got up about 10 and it was the same, and its not stopped yet, its still coming down.

Yes it was chaos this morning 3 buses turned over as well due to the snow levels :eek:

It has being raining for a few hours so the snow is slowly turning into slush

but it was very deep this morning around 8ish.
