I know we're probably talking in nanoseconds, but is it concievable that you have a minute advantage when using a wired controller over a wireless controller when gaming? FPS games being the most reaction sensitive.

Probably, but I doubt most people would notice it. Same thing applies to wireless mice and keyboards, I've been using wireless stuff for years and never noticed a difference in gaming.

I notice the difference. Especially after using the wireless controller for prolonged periods, when switching back to wired it handles better.

Try it on a racing game like Forza 2.

You're either a robot or kidding yourself :p

Balderdash, is about the politest way I can put that :).

Been playing with wired for a few weeks due to needing more batteries. Recently got the batteries and noticed no difference.

This is playing mostly shooters.

I do however notice a decrease in my tendency to trip myself up.

wireless will always introdue lag, but its debatable whether you'll notice it on a pad. something like a mouse that you move in real time yes, its instantly noticable. i've always stuck to wired mice because of it :)

Not true. I took my MX1000 back the same day because it was a total turd.

Must have been a problem with your one then, because I used one for three years without any problems. I'm on a Bluetooth MX Revolution now and it too is perfectly fine, no lag at all.

I returned one as well as it was terrible.
