do Setanta love United or something? we always seem to be on! I'd hope we can beat Spurs by a couple of goals tomorrow. It's very important we get some good performances going.

Arsenal were on Setanta about 5 weeks in a row earlier in the season, it was brilliant!

Huge game for Arsenal, must win game which is definitely not going to be easy.

Yeap, I don't see Middlesborough being that strong this year, but no doubt this match is going to be rather difficult. We've lost there the last two visits...how I pang for our older line up where we won 1-4 twice. :(

It's looking ok for Eduardo though, he' scheduled to play in a reserves game fairly soon.

Utd never seem to get what they deserve in early or late kickoffs (Sunderland, Aston Villa and Everton to name a few)

going to be a tough game - especially if Carrick and Ferdinand cant play because of their injuries. I suspect Ferdinand may sit out anyway with this back spasm, but losing Carrick in central midfield would be a huge loss, probably means Giggs/Fletcher in the centre for one half and Scholes replacing Giggs after the break

Might as well put this here as it's a current thread, but good news!

Gallas and Bendtner could be leaving next month. While at least Gallas does offer us experience, his other bad traits aren't really desired. Also Bendtner as shown in the last two matches offers us absolutely nothing. Good riddence especially to the latter. If Eduardo can come back next week and then start to play ..mm..around mid Jan time then it wouldn't surprise me to see him go out on loan at least

They have been destroyed by injuries which hasn't helped things as their backups aren't close to being as strong and not buying a keeper at the start of the season has been an issue.

Boro, fully fit are capable of top 10 easily and are the strongest of the NE teams at present, they just seem to be lacking a bit of leadership on the pitch and a steady head in midfield.

Hopefully Berbatov is injured and can't play. Out all of Fergies signings this has got to go down as one of the worst. Bone Idle and it's a player we didn't really need to buy. Money would have been better used to sign Tevez on and bring Manucho and Campbell through the ranks

Liverpool v Hull

Difficult one to call, our home record is dog but only against the lesser sides that tend to 'park the bus'. Hull play away like they do at home, often very attacking in a 4-3-3, so maybe this will suit us more and we'll find the space we need.

Regardless, this is a fixture we need to be winning. We've already had too many poor results at home and I'd rather not see another.

Manucho is (sadly) seemingly not up to the premiership it seems (SAF has given Welbeck a few appearances, but Manucho has only appeared in CC I think)

Campbell was definitely worth keeping this season, but still think Berba has won us a lot of points we may well not have got had less experienced players been on the pitch - however that is just guesswork, as you can never be sure either way

Either way not worth complaining about really - whats done is done, money has been payed and player signed :)

with rooney out, its either berba or...giggs with tevez though

Tevez and Welbeck? with Berba struggling with an injury according to reports

SAF is reported as saying Giggs will play some role in midfield tomorrow - whether this comes about I have no idea

You do have a habit of overrating Boro though, I think you predict a win for them every week in the prediction league. :p

Agree. I think we'll win but I think it'll be a close and entertaining game. Wouldn't be surprised to see Hull stick a couple past us.

Would love to see Keane score a few but if he continues the form he showed in the second half against PSV I'll be happy.

We'll gladly take him back.
