Is this ever coming out?

:)

Or has it gone the way of the "Storm of War - Battle of Britain" by the makers of the IL-2 Sturmovik series?

:)

Was this acctually going to be released, I thought it was just a demo to show off new gfx physx gfx?

Could be totally wrong like.

Argh, i thought this sounded really good. Don't know that much about it but from the screen shots it looked interesting.

No, it was a game, nothing to do with Physx. I was drooling over it a coupla of Xmas's ago as i planned my build.

There was a new trailer released not to long ago, in October I think, should be able to find it on the tube.

I really think all they've shown us so far is basically a glorified tech demo, now they're actually making the game/story and that's why it's taking aaages.

Devs have said it's one of these "it's done when it's done" games.

I heard Microsoft have got hold of it and were going to release it episodically. A bit like a tv series as that how the game will play out.

Gave up looking forward to this - seemed like it was going to be a "Silent Hill by Steven King" game, with looks to match, but alas, I dont think it's gonna happen anytime soon.

I guess when Alan Wake was being demoed they were saying that it was using multiple processes to do the game engine, lighting and physics and that it would lend itself to multi-core CPUs easily - perhaps thats what he is on about? I doubt its a requirement more a recommendation...

And go to bed Margaret...

ps3ud0

Source?

Or is this just a quad core owner convincing himself his CPU will start being used more?

and Alan Wake is still coming, no need to give up on it.
i remember that it was one of the dx10 flagship games never heard anything about quad core

duke nukem forever or Alan Wake wonder which will be out first
