netflix on 360

hi this may sound stupid but what the heck. is netflix available for UK residents, is it possible for us to just sign up (pay) and rent movies from our 360 or do we have to be a US resident.

if not does anyone know anything similar to netflix (maybe lovefilm) which will be available for UK residents.

You can't get Netflix in the UK. It is USA based company/service for USA users. I guess a company in the UK could do this, there is 2 or 3 big rental companies (postal) but none of them offer "streamed" versions of their content to PC/TV/MAC like Netflix do, yet.

The closest thing we were told we would get some BT vision integration and IPTV, none of these have materialised yet (to my knowledge). These would have offered streamed films (or were advertised to).

I am fairly sure this breaches the copyright terms of Netflix as their streamed content etc is only supposed to be accessible inside USA terretories (for licensing reasons).
