There is a gap in my posting this morning where I fell asleep at my desk :D
I had half a cup of Coffee & a smoke on, No spillage of the Coffee but the smoke was stuck to my crutch :p I can feel myself nodding off again & have this weird spaced out feeling I used to only get after a shed load of Quality substances :p
Sleep deprivation for the win but Don't drive on it :)

To avoid the Thanks for the Info crowd Please post your Weirdest nodding off moments or most tired experience.
Me I've lost count of the amount of times I have woke up in my easy chair with a smoke stuck to my cheek :D

I once fell asleep at the wheel of my car. It was 4am on a deserted, old motorway in France and i hadn't seen another car for 2 hours. I'd been driving for 16. It was the single stupidest thing i've ever done, and possibly the most harrowing experience of my life. The tyres scraped the central reservation which is what woke me up. I crossed 2 lanes.

I've never driven whilst even remotely tired since, and i will never drive whilst tired again. I don't care how "up for it" i feel, i will stop after a few hours driving for a nap or break before continuing for a couple more hours, then stopping again.

Don't do it kids, it's not big and it's not clever. Missing the ferry is not that big a deal.

I feel like I am about to... Need a drink but our water dispensor is out of water (even though I requested new bottles over 2 weeks ago..) Shouldn't go out of the office as I am expecting a call. Bah.

Erm, none that are weird.

Falling asleep during a lecture is pretty bad, my head kept falling fowards and I'd wake myself up. Plus my eyes couldn't stay open and everytime my lecturer was looking at me I'd have my eyes closed.

I fell asleep through some really rough turbulence on the way to NZ too, peoples drinks were going all over the place and I nodded back off to sleep.

I once fell asleep, on the bed I might add, just intending to rest for a minute. I went at about 7pm and woke around 8:30pm or something, then went downstairs assuming it was morning and telling my parents I'd be late for school :o

lol did the black sky outside not scream night time to you? ;)

Nothing too exciting, back when I used to be a WoW addict I always used to just "have a rest for a minute" on the bed at 4am, would wake up in the morning with the PC on with a message on the screen saying "You have been disconnected from the server"

:( :D

Sounds like you're lucky not to have set yourself on fire if you keep falling asleep with a cigarete on the go.

PK!

I once feel asleep while on the job with a woman :o

My mate did this in my car
Back a million years ago when cars were steam powered (No not Valve) we had an unwritten agreement of whoever pulled first got the keys to the motor. I goes out to use my motor & there's my mate fast a kip with this little Doris trapped under him just smoking a cigarette  + :p
Cheeky **** woke up wanting to fight me an all :p
I got my own back a few months later when I got first pull, Being a **** I tried to show off to said Doris & stuck His motor into a post :D The amount of Crap I got over that for years afterwards can not be described in text :p

Whilst I was in basic training one of the guys fell asleep in one of the lessons (It was boring TBH) but whilst the sgt was shouting at him he actually fell asleep...

Oh the good times of basic :D
