Mum and The 360!

Hey guys my old goose decided to buy herself an Xbox 360 arcade package today and all she has played so far is the Arcade games that come with it for about 2/3 hours! What games to do you think a 43 year old bint who has never really played computer games would like?

get her an HD for xmas and download all the demo's, if she's like most of the mums i know, she will go for the puzzle games.

Yeah my Mum has an addiction to Bejeweled 2, really annoying when I've bought a new game and she say's something along the lines of "Just this last game" and then that game happens to go on for a few hours.

My Mum's also recently got a 360 on my recommendation. She's not played it hugely though because she's too hooked on Dragon Quest 8 on the PS2.
However, I'd suggest Viva Pinata, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and XBLA games like Bejewelled 2, Zuma or Boogie Bunnies. I know my Mum has enjoyed what she's seen of that lot so far

Not sure if you can get them for the 360 but my mates mum used to love playing spyro and crash bandicoot.

I recommend Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball 2

Hows about a tennis game in the lines of Virtua Tennis 3 or Sega Superstars Tennis? Both good pickup and play arcadey titles with some hidden depth in them.

And as the usual for mums because they seem to be the best at it, puzzle games would be the simpliest choice and easy to grab from XBLA. Tetris Evolution, Lumines Live!/Lumines II, Meteos Wars as a few examples.
