Obama is a fraud!

All that link suggests is that there are controlling forces behind a President's decisions. We all know that.

Everyone should be sceptical, its a healthy thing to be. However, I know better than to take seriously an opinion piece which includes things such as this:

Lots of people jumping on the 'anti-magick' bandwagon here...

Ok, I just gave it a second go and looked at the actual article, it doesnt seem to say anything at all apart from that icke disapproves of using rhetoric and linguistic skill to get elected. It doesnt mention a specific problem with obama being president just that he's used his silver tongue (albeit penned by other people) to get into office, now excuse my ignorance but that's how politics work, you tell people what they want to hear whilst making the minimum commitment to actual actions so that you leave the field open. That's not conspiracy theory, that's just public speaking... Icke does the same things all the time, but because he's writing/speaking "from the heart" it's different. I'm actually annoyed at just how stupid that article it is, although not in the slightest surprised that magick is excited by it.

Nicely put.

No wonder Hilter almost made it...
A comedian friend of my frequently mentions if a gig's going well that he wonders if the nuremberg rally was just a particularly good stand up gig. Hitler is often praised as a public/motivational speaker, Icke seems to be saying that because hitler was good at speaking and obama is too hitler = obama.

so it was on about hope?

got bored after the 1st few sentences.

he is yet to start his new role...its like people slagging me off before I start a new job and they dont even know me.

Exactly. Surely you could replace "Obama" with any other politician and the criticisms could be equally valid (invalid...?)?

Magick - I find your threads on conspiracies far more interesting than this one. At least in those you make claims that we can actually have a debate about.

Got to agree I hated his use of the word 'change' but only because it was the answer to every question. He may as well have replaced himself with a dummy an an audio clip that just said 'Change!'. Other than that the article is garbage allthough I wish I spoke German just so I could understand what the recordings of hitler are on about without translation.

I've tried reading it and I'm getting nothing more than 'he's a fraud', 'he uses known techniques to appeal to people' (of course he does, he'd have to be a complete pillock to use techniques that are proven not to work) and 'the Illuminati are in control'. He barely states how he thinks he is a fraud beyond very general terms, he doesn't offer anything much other than 'if you're clever you'll see through the man' thereby appealing to people who either don't like Obama or want to think of themselves as smarter than your average bear and frankly it is a waste of time. Worse than that it is a long waste of time and apparantly Mr Icke doesn't even credit his readers with the knowledge of what cognitive dissonance means or that they can draw their own conclusions - that speaks volumes about the people he expects to believe his work.

//edit damn it, I read through most of that and came up with the same sort of conclusions as Abraham.

I could equally say that icke uses clever ways to draw on peoples insecurities and inquisitiveness to make them believe in his conspiracys.

Ofcourse i would be wrong because there is nothing inherently clever about what he says.

Sorry, but I think there's a lot of substance in that article.

Obama is a puppet for the global elitists.
What substance? read my replies and answer the points I raise. What does Icke say in the article other than that obama uses well known debating/public speaking techniques.
