Need a game a game like aoe etc

Hey

I love playing games like age of empires / empire earth etc but i have out played this for too long now and feel like getting something new but still in this genre.

Whats supreme commander like? I don't like the rome total war series, games with 'dice' etc don't do it for me.

best RTS game ever, period, can't get any better RTS at the moment! should try sins of a solar empire too, with the patch

World in Conflict is a fantastic game, no base building as it's all about strategically beating your opponent though.

Supreme Commander is good especially the expansion.

BFME2 is quality game, so is company of heroes, but im sticking with original suggestions, get supcom and sins! they'll keep you occupied for ages, both are long winded a lot of the time mind, so don't prepare yourself for a C&C style rushfest

Don't mean to hijack your thread Andy, but can anyone recommend a game where micromanagement is quite extreme. Just finished BFME2 and whilst it's a great game, I just feel that only the first 10min is the most dangerous. Once my base is up and running it runs itself and I can take my sweet time to slaughter the enemy. I want something that's going to keep me on my toes for the duration of the whole round with a bit more to think about and consider.
