Looks good done up, but I reckon that angled front will be annoying when un-done.

How warm does it have to be? Smart as in business or as in smart casual/trendy?
and I agree on less is more with a jacket, but I do like some functionality with it.could see everything looking good in the fitting room for about 5 minutes and then getting out into the real world and thinking "Oh my god what have I bought,
I've done that so many times, bought clothes then actually worn them and thought oh dear and they've been in the wardrobe ever since.
It screams pretentious **** to me, sorry.

I like it, will look good if it's your style, not something to be worn with cheap jeans/top though.

Any of these float yer boat? http://www.moss.co.uk/fcp/categoryproducts/garment/smart_coats
Yup same here, hence why i'm much more careful now. Saying that, I managed to come home the wrong size Ted Baker shirt the other day... /facepalm.
river island wasn't much help. Gonna try next, envy and some others in a bit. Can anyone think of some good coat brands cos I'm not so sure.it's ok I hammered the sales this year... I couldn't believe what retailers were doing to get customers in, i've never seen anything like it.![]()
That's ok, people not fully comfortable with themselves often think that about others.![]()

Some nice ones there, they don't have hoods but don't care so much now.
Will check out zara after my curryriver island wasn't much help. Gonna try next, envy and some others in a bit. Can anyone think of some good coat brands cos I'm not so sure.

Good stuff, personally I can't stand the sales, everyone seems to be ****ed off with you for no reason!

I've just bought this one, http://uk.burberry.com/fcp/product/...nswear/FITTED-TRENCH/10000001405?colour=black .
It's a shame it wasn't on sale, the navy blue and olive colour are £250 cheaper, the black ones on any traditional style are never on sale.
